I Saw This Lady Some Where

Christof POV

I woke up with my alarm ringing, I switched on my lights and saw it was 7am in the morning. I woke up early today as I had an important meeting which was related to my business. I brushed, took a shower.

I left my room and headed towards the living area. My mom was sipping her cup of tea waiting for me.

"Mom good morning, didn't know that you would show up this early", I said

"Wanted to meet you sweetheart and have a small talk with you. It has been a while since we chatted a bit", she replied.

"Take a seat sweetie".

I took a seat besides her,

"Look at you, you look so bad, you need a good haircut, you need to also shave christof!", She added.

"No mom I'm good like this, you don't need to worry about me", I replied.

"I am worried about you Christof, Addison is dead she won't return, I can't see you like this, you need someone else in your life"

"Mom, I told you once, don't worry about me, and please stop searching for girls for me to get married, this is hurting me more".

"Ok fine let me get this straight, you want me to be okay right then please stop worrying about me, everything will get better, let it just go like thi please mom,

I'll go get ready for work I have an important meeting today, thanks for coming mom",

"That's enough now Christof, I want you to marry again, move on christof sweetheart", my mom replied.

"Mom you liked Addison right, so now why are you telling me to move on, it's not easy for me to move on mom!", I replied.

"Yes I Liked Addison, because she was a sweet girl, but I didn't know that she is a liar, she lied to our family, about the marriage, where as the marriage was a contract between both of you, do you know what does that mean, it means that, you both would divorce after a year, and she did that just for money, how can I trust a girl like her, who can do anything for money, I am disappointed with that girl, I will choose a best girl for you Christof, she will care for you, and I will choose someone better than that liar girl Addison, she was not good for you", my mom replied.

"Mom don't blame, Addison, I blackmailed her, I told her to marry me, she denied to marry me, she didn't agree, but I told her that I would make sure that she doesn't get a job anywhere, she had to take care of her little brother, and she needed the money , so I took advantage of that and I married her, but then I fell in love with her, and I won't marry any other girl, because she is the only girl whom I love, and my heart belongs to her", I replied.

"She Is not good enough for you Christof!!", My mom replied

"Mom please!!, It is better that you leave I can take care of myself, it would be best for me,

Good day mom!", Saying this I left the living room.

I went to my room and got ready for work.

I called Jared, "hey where are you, we have an important meeting today, I will be with you in an hour", saying that I cut the call.

I Was very angry, it's my life, and I will decide what should I do with my life, I can't understand why are people trying to interfere in my life, I didn't want to marry anyone else, and my mom is not trying to understand, my mom who loved Addison once now hates her.

When I headed towards the living area, I had already left as I sat on the coach with my laptop doing some important business work, waiting for my secretary and Jared.

Jared arrived and he followed me towards the car, before entering the car a man wanted to meet me.

"Please just for a second I want to meet Mr Christof, please I won't take much time",the man said to my guards who were not letting him in.

"We are sorry, sir is too busy he can't meet you, you don't have an appointment with him, we can't help you, please leave",my guards said to him while showing him his way out.

"Let that man in!!", I said

"Sir I wanted to ask for your help",he said, joining his hands.

"You can meet me in the evening, I have an important work for now", I said

"Thank you so much sir",he said with a look of joy on his face.

"You can leave now!",I said.

"What is it sir, you can't meet anyone, he can be dangerous",Jared said.

"No he is not a dangerous man, he just needs help, I can see that in his eyes, you know that Jared I help people who are in need, so does Addison, she would do the same if she was here",I replied.

I entered the car, and I took a seat, my secretary was already waiting for me in the car, she was seated beside me.

"Good morning sir!",she greeted.

"Good morning", I greeted back.

Ready with the documents, did you memorize it,what you are going to say in the meeting, I asked her.

"Yes sir, I have memorized all the documents well, I'm well prepared for the meeting", she said.

"Well let's see how good you are at it, we will get to know that in the meeting", I said.

After an hour we reached the company where the meeting was going to be held.

We all headed towards the meeting room.

The meeting started, and it went on well,as we got a big deal from another company.

Lilly has done a great job,no doubt she is good in business meetings.

I appreciated her as she had done a great job.

"Thank you so much sir",she replied.

"No, don't thank me, you were great today, you deserve appreciation",I said with a small smile on my face.

We left the company and headed back home.

When I reached my mansion, Jared opened the door for me, my other guard took off my suit for me and followed me behind.

I entered inside and saw that the man whom I met this morning was waiting for me.

When I entered he saw me and stood still in his place, he put his head before me.

"Why do you want to meet me?", I asked.

Sir I need help, I need money, the bank is not permitting me a loan.

My mother is very ill. She needs treatment. The doctor said he will start the treatment only when I pay the advance. I need help sir, please help me, I can't let my mother die.

Ok fine, follow me. I would like to talk to you personally.

He followed me towards the other room.

"Take a seat", I said.

"What is your name?", I asked.

"Carlos Mendes", he replied

"Ok Carlos how much money do you need", I asked

"Sir $4000 dollars", he replied.

Okay fine, take care of your mother.

I signed a check and handed it over to him.

"You can pay it back any time, don't worry about that, just take care of your mother"I said.

"Thank you so much sir, I will do anything to repay this", he said.

Before leaving, he stared at Addison's portrait for a few seconds.

"What's the matter, I asked, why are you staring at that portrait?",I asked.

"Nothing sir, I saw this lady somewhere", he replied.

After hearing him I stood and froze in my place.

Where do you see her, I asked.

I don't remember exactly some where 9- 10 months before.

"But where and how, tell me everything Carlos please", I added.
