Jess’s eyes narrowed as she pursued a distinct trail through the veil, one that she recognised. One that she would always recognise. Either she had become sloppy or Amelia wanted to be found. She had no doubt Kyle’s sister, or rather the one who walked around in her friend’s body, knew that she was behind her.
