Alex realised that his prediction about William not being happy with this particular report had been an understatement. Alex could sense the cold waves of anger that rolled off him and Alex hastily extended his own personal shield to encompass his brother’s suite, smiling tightly as both Kyle and Jess did the same. They didn’t need every sensitive soul in the palace aware that their king was suffering a bout of white hot rage. While they had known they’d find the Order holed up somewhere, it was unexpected for them to be not only at a lords house but in the very home of one of the great houses.
