Alex sat next to William at yet another council meeting, restraining a sigh. William’s fate of seemingly unending meetings and court sessions as the king, was far worse than his own role of being the Fourth. He was impatient wanting to get out and search for the home of the Order. To find his friend. William had cancelled the majority of the meetings he normally had to suffer through but unfortunately, even in a wartime setting he couldn’t cancel all of them. He would have preferred if William had cancelled the regular Petitioners’ Court as well yet his brother or rather, his king wouldn’t hear of it.
