Joanna flashed through the veil, following that whispering voice that she despised and feared. The world around her rumbled, dark and menacing masses forming as she passed, grey, black and red. What looked like lightning struck around her, yet she knew it wasn’t lightning. It was easy to ignore the surging energy. She knew it wouldn’t hurt her. One word ran though her head, over and over on repeat.
