Olivia Ivanov's POV

Disappear and Appear

It all went very fast after this incident.

Alpha Henry, with his power, set me free and took me to his mansion. He ordered his maids to clean me up and also told his doctor to check if I was alright.

After this had been done, I ate good food and went for a massage. I was feeling like an important personality here and all I hoped for was for it to last long.

I was given one of the most comfortable rooms at his mansion and that was how I slept off. His mansion looked more beautiful than that of Alpha Lucas.

I loved it all and I began to wonder if Alpha Henry was my second chance mate. I knew I would find this out in no time.

And definitely, I did.

The next morning held a lot of surprises for me. I woke up to find Alpha Henry sitting by my side. I was quite shocked at first but I knew he had good intentions.

“Good morning, sleeping beauty…” Alpha Henry told me. This made me chuckle and I began to feel loved. This could be a fantasy but it was quite enjoyable.

“Good morning…” I greeted him. I yawned and stretched my body after sitting down to gaze at him.

“I will like to ask a few questions if you don't mind,” Alpha Henry smiled. His smile was enchanting and magical and I couldn't help but nod my head while still smiling sheepishly. This was embarrassing but I didn't mind.

Alpha Henry took the questions slowly and I loved it as well. He started from the simple ones down the most delicate ones. I expected all these and I gave him my honest reply. I had to tell myself my life's journey from the beginning to the end.

I could see Alpha Henry's reaction when he got to know that I was rejected by Alpha Lucas.

“Well, I wanted to tell you something as well,” Alpha Henry told me slowly. “It's something the doctor has confirmed but I can tell that you are yet to know.”

“What is it?” I asked concisely. “Do I have a terminal illness?”

“No!” Alpha Henry told me. “You are pregnant, Olivia. Four weeks pregnant!”

I wasn't expecting this at all. My heart pounded in fear. I couldn't believe I was going to have a baby. It was quite painful because the baby belonged to Alpha Lucas who had rejected me already.

“What!” I screamed. “I am pregnant for Alpha Lucas!”

I broke down in tears about this condition. Truly, it was an unexpected and unwanted pregnancy. If this happened when I was still with Alpha Lucas, I would be the happiest woman in the world. However, he had rejected me now and I would have to take care of the unborn child alone and with no support.

I should be finding a second chance mate but with a pregnancy, no man would want me.

This was disastrous.

“Oh no!” I wailed. I fell on the floor and began to cry with my face directly on the ground.

Alpha Henry sat down on the ground as well and began to tap my back to comfort me.

“It will all be alright, Olivia. Just calm down,” Alpha Henry told me. All what he said didn't sink into my mind. I was so desperate at this point.

“No!” I cried. “How will I take care of my unborn child? Alpha Lucas is the one who impregnated me but he has rejected me. Do you think he would accept me back if I took this back to him?”

“I will take care of you!” Alpha Henry told me sharply. I was so shocked about what he said. He wanted to take care of another man's unborn child.

“Why would you do that?” I asked slowly.

“I will take responsibility for your unborn child and you. The child will belong…” Alpha Henry was saying before the door was kicked open.

“Shut up your mouth!” A lady came in and shouted at Alpha Henry.

I didn't know who she was at first sight but later, I found out that her name was Mia and she was the rightful mate of Alpha Henry.

It dawned on me that I had gotten into trouble.

Mia was tall, slim, curvy, and beautiful like me but she was too slim. She barely had enough flesh on her skin and for men who loved fleshy women, Mia would fail the test.

Mia was the rightful mate of Alpha Henry and from what I was told, both of them had been friends from childhood before discovering that they were mates.

I was now a flesh in Mia's thorns since Alpha Henry was willing to get mated to me instead. I had to stop him since I didn't want to be a bad person.

It took me back to when Sofia betrayed me and got me kicked out of my rightful position. From this, I could tell what it felt like to be robbed of your own right. I had to put all these in consideration before taking any action.

Alpha Henry was driven by sentiments and he was willing to deny his rightful mate just to be with me, a pregnant lady. I tried to make him know that I didn't want to get in between him and his supposed mate but he gave me an audience.

“I love you, Olivia,” he would always tell me. “Nobody, including Mia, can stop us from being together.”

At some point, I didn't know what to do again. I had to rethink this. I knew Alpha Henry loved me truly but this was at the detriment of Mia. I felt like disappearing from them to get them back together.

I tried to explain things to Mia but she gave me no listening ear and instead, she threatened me. This got me angry and made me begin to consider getting mated to Alpha Henry. He was all I needed at this point.

Months later, I gave birth to a baby boy. Instantly, I named him Dan and this made me think about Alpha Lucas. Dan looked so much like his father.

Alpha Henry had been with me all through and now that I had given birth, I was expected to get mated to him to appreciate him for his patience.

I was ready to do this.

We picked a day for the mating ceremony and against all odds, we had the ceremony. I couldn't help but feel bad for Mia whom I was stealing from.

We were taking our marriage vows when a strange thing happened. A guard ran inside and broke some unpleasant news to us.

“Alpha Lucas of Mistwood Pack is here!” The guard told me.

Before I could say ‘Jack’, Alpha Lucas entered the hall where we were having our mating ceremony.

“I wish to break this off!” Alpha Lucas shouted on top of his voice. “Give me my mate and my son. They are all that I am here for!”

I was shocked on hearing this.

“Which son are you referring to? Are you also talking about a mate whom you have to reject? It's impossible!” Alpha Henry shouted back at him.

They had an argument and this ceremony was getting heated and disrupted.

“Choose one, Olivia!” Alpha Henry shouted at me. “Will you go with him or stay with me? Whatever you choose, let it come to pass and whomever you choose would also have custody of Dan!”

I took a deep breath.

I looked at Alpha Henry and back at Alpha Lucas.

Alpha Lucas had treated me badly the last time I knew him and I didn't know if he was a changed man or not. As for Alpha Henry, he had treated me well enough for the past nine months.

This was supposed to be an easy choice but Mia's involvement made it harder.
