Prologue
Guin's POV:
Feeling fatigued I loused around on the bench waiting for my friend to arrive. Shutting my eyelids briefly I began to hum a melodic tune for the new song I was composing. Lyrics of the song I was currently writing began to flood through my petite head. The simple music that flowed out of my enchanting mouth had satisfied the harmony I had been striving for. A pestering tap on my shoulder pulled me out of the trance I had once again fallen into. Pushing myself off the bench I greeted my best friend Diana and shut my eyes tight as she pulled me in for a tight but warm and joy-filled hug. "Where have you been Guin, I feel like I haven't seen you in forever," she moaned dragging out her words. Reminding her that I had only just seen her yesterday in maths; I dragged her towards the canteen. My parched throat began crying for water, as though it had been through a drought. Patiently waiting for Diana to get yoghurt, I began to gulp the sweet and delicious cold water from the blue bottle I had with me. As I began to fill up my bottle with water, memories of him gifting it to me for my 15th birthday began to surge through my head. Silently I pushed the memories aside and called out to Diana; instructing her to speed up. I rapidly forced myself to fill my head with happy thoughts of things I loved and enjoyed to get rid of the bittersweet memories that whirled through my head. Feeling the energy and the positive vibes I began skipping and decided to walk backwards instead so that I could see Diana's face while I asked for her opinion on the new song I was writing. Suddenly Diana began warning me to turn around and that I was about to bump into someone. Just as I was about to heed her warning I realised, it was too late and I stumbled forward slightly as my back collided with a firm solid hard wall. A strong hand gripped my waist to prevent me from falling flat on my face, due to the impact.
Guin's POV:
"s**t sorry," the words slipped my mouth as I swivelled around to see the man; whose stone-hard chest I had bumped into. As the laughter escaped my bubbly chest, I lifted my head. As when looking straight ahead all I could see was his neatly ironed shirt and his broad frame. The smile on my face slowly morphed into a scowl filled with Godly carved dimples shining down at me and I let him faze me momentarily. Then only did I realise my hand were peacefully holding his chest and, I knew I was holding him tight only because I craved his touch and I also could feel my knees buckling: Yet I quickly painted a facade across my face and pushed him away, while with distaste I grimaced, "watch where your going doofus." Pushing his side with my shoulder I strode past him. I felt his eyes burn holes through my broken soul.
Santiago's POV:
Like always, when I saw her from afar she was jumping up and down. Energy radiated of her as though she were the sun. A small smile began to pull on my callous face as I saw her tiny minuscule 5ft 2 frame skipping around. Swiftly, she began to turn around and walk backwards and from the way, her small, soft hands were moving around making creative gestures I knew she was speaking about something she was deeply passionate about. I saw her coming towards me with her back facing me. However, I made no sign of moving out of the way. Merely seconds passed before she collided into my chest with her wide shoulders and back. Instinctively, I draped my arm around her curved waist to prevent her from falling onto her pulchritudinous face. As she regained her balance and composture I stared down at her tiny head (that mind I say was filled with more knowledge and information that could possibly fit inside it). Was filled with her silky coal-black hair that she let down in gracious waves. Without even realising I allowed my fingertips to graze her smooth, luscious, ebony hair. When she finally spun around and lifted her pointy chin, I let a smirk crawl upon my face simply to play with her temper. Although she began scowling when she realised it was me: my smile began to race its way back on my face again. As the realisation hit her she pushed me away. Well, she tried to but I didn't move an inch, hence she stepped to the side and stomped past me and a scowl filled my face. Although she was short and tiny, when she was furious she emitted power and confidence. My friends started to move towards her as no one even dares to touch the leader of the black dragons. Immediately I put my hands up stopping them and sternly muttered," let her be."
