Level 5 Omega Warrior

2204 Words
A woman rests in her hospital bed watching the fights for this week's Omega Tournament on her laptop. She is particularly interested in all the fights featuring the Omega Warrior aka Otto Rey. He is winning and moving up closer to the end. She notices Divinity rising up with equal speed from the commentaries and scoreboards popping up during the fights. Arun Seth fights hard enough to reach the semi-finals as well. His opponent for now is Divinity. Otto Rey has to face a very powerful contender himself known as PikaChickaYT. First match features Divinity against MotaStricker. Arun tries hard to avoid illusion traps but Divinity can be very intent on tricking his opponents. Alisha and Beth watch the fight from their homes hoping for a miracle. Divinity uses several telekinetic shock waves capable of making Arun’s character dizzy. He does not waste time and finishes the fight with an instant kill. Now the undefeated champion awaits Otto Rey to finish his fight against this PikaChickaYT. Otto’s Omega Warrior is strong and severely fast when it comes to a battle on air and this is one such fight. Both him and PikaChickaYT have flight powers. Both keep pulsating onto each other with powerful strikes. Otto’s opponent uses electric powers to cover the entirety of the battlefield with current. Using various quick movements he manages to move past the shock radius. After electricity comes fiery fumes. Again Otto avoids direct contact. Now PikaChicka uses electric shocks from one half and a burst of ember from the other half of his body at the same time.  It is an incredible trick but Otto avoids the worst of it by flying extremely fast. His rival on field tries to pursue him with equal speeds but somehow falls behind. Otto is extremely swift in his attack that it may seem he chose super speed as one of his super abilities. PikaChickaYT has to go defensive against a rampaging Otto Rey coming at him using super strength and once it hits the attacks keep going. His life falls and regains with equal speeds but his opponents drops fast. It quickly hits zero sending Omega Warrior in the finals to face off against Divinity. Back in the hospital ward the woman sits placing the laptop on her lap, she types a comment “#OmegaWarrior”. So many users worldwide each commenting on their favorite for the main event, hashtag Omega Warrior versus hashtag Divinity. This day will decide the title for the best ICBA warrior. Otto and Divinity enter the arena examining each other's character. Alisha, Beth is now joined by an irritated Arun. “Omega will win” writes Beth on their chat group. Alisha replies with a thumbs up. The game should now prompt a message starting this fight but instead something unusual starts to happen. The ICBA skies begin to change its color. Within seconds it turns purple and the clouds shape itself to form different words.  “Congratulations, OmegaWarrior and Divinity” says the clouds and changes again to form a new set of words. “This will be more than just a battle to reach Omega and so it should take place in a more grander arena.” The cloud vanishes. Both Divinity and Otto have no idea of what just happened. It is clearly the work of the AI within the game but it has never done something like this before. “This could be Sam’s doing” thinks Otto. Sam knows no other programmer had a hand in this and it is all because the AI wanted to do it. As it said both Otto and Sam’s character were relocated into a deep space arena. There seems to be no atmosphere surrounding them, only a giant landscape with floating debris all around. Each meteorite was of different structures rotating or moving very slowly around the landmass.  Everyone watching now sees the two fighters again in this new arena over their screens. The prompt starting the battle finally shows up. “Nice theatrics, but are you really such a worthy opponent Omega Warrior” says Divinity before diving right into the fight. “I could say, I am a little flattered. I have to beat you at any cost.” informs Otto. Divinity shrugs with Otto’s confidence. He himself feels something great to fight in such a deadly environment. “Please don’t make it too easy for me.” Divinity alerts Otto. They have both greeted each other and now it's time for their battle. Otto Rey knows the importance of this fight, he has to win. He takes in a deep breath trying to keep his head cool and leveled. “It’s time to play some games.” Otto whispers to himself. The battlefield is unreal yet something about this moment feels real. Divinity and Omega Warrior cannot hear anything else outside their own voices and movements. It is a vacuum space surrounding them. They both stand still awaiting each other for the first move. Divinity uses his illusions on Otto. All of a sudden Otto can see Divinity in multiple positions existing at the same time creating a destructive portal. He launches the portals at Otto from different angles. Otto flies away dodging each portal as they get thrown at him from all directions.  Divinity uses his telekinesis to possess a flying meteorite and point towards Omega Warrior at a very high speed. Otto tries to find out the difference between real and fake using all his two available senses, sight and hearing. Unfortunately his sight fails him but his ears can detect slightest movement sounds from playing all those battleground matches. He could easily detect hidden enemy positions from the slightest movement noises. With his trained hearing Otto detects the sound of something approaching him with great speed. He maneuvers outside of its way in a jolt and elevates a great height above ground with his greatest speed just like a rocket launching off into space. The meteor hits the ground and small rocks get scattered all around.  Omega Warrior dives down in an attempt to hit something on the ground. Divinity has no idea what Otto is trying to accomplish so he tries distracting him with illusion debris. Otto is determined enough to pass through the illusions unharmed to hit the ground below with his body at super strength. This impact did a noticeable damage to Otto’s health but got rid of every spectre of Divinity created by illusions.  The world watching did not understand the reason behind this self harm but this made the original Divinity change position by flying away to settle himself up on a flying debris. Otto scans the arena and the space above to find Divinity, his healing has already started. Divinity uses portals to transfer himself from one rock to another. For anyone watching it seems like Divinity is just moving from one position to another but for Otto there are many Divinity’s all around; each changing their positions. Now Divinity uses telekinesis and illusion together with the portals confusing Otto and hitting him with real small debris from almost every direction. Omega Warrior is losing his life very quickly, so he uses a stomp on the ground to cover the area with dirt making it hard to spot his actual position. Using this chance Otto dives away underneath the battle arena completely out of sight. Both Divinity and the audience cannot find Omega Warrior. His life regains itself with every passing second. Divinity uses telekinetic power and moves a meteorite within a portal reshaping it into a giant rock stake and puts it away through another portal. He tries to hit the arena with all the other boulders floating above to break it apart. The landmass starts to c***k with all the impacts from above. Omega Warrior uses this as an opportunity to fly and attack Divinity by surprise. He hits divinity and starts punching him with super strength. He keeps punching repeatedly, laying as many hits as he can but Divinity transfers both himself and Otto through a portal into a giant open field. Using this travel as a distraction he grabs hold of Otto through telekinesis with one hand and brings out the giant stake from a portal using his other. Divinity drives the stake at great speed towards Omega Warrior. With his grip being shifted Omega is loose. He falls on the ground himself  with a sliding stomp slightly missing the stake. Omega rises to attack Divinity, who uses his telekinesis as a defensive tool holding back Omega’s punches. They shift using another portal to a land of lava and volcanoes. Omega does not flinch, he flies with another punch pointed towards his opponent. Divinity holds him and throws him into a burning lava. Omega does not hit the lava but keeps flying and dropping on his feet resulting in a great impact with the Earth below. This fills the area surrounding the fighters with smog and tiny earthquakes disbalancing Divinities attacks. Otto goes in for another fly through punch only to get interrupted by the land rising as a barrier to stop him. He trusts himself and goes through as it is just an illusion. Divinity holds Otto once again before an impact and they travel back into the space battlefield through another portal. Now he uses all the meteorite boulders at his will reshaping them into pointy stakes all around. Omega Warrior will not see the real one but the fake one. It would be even more difficult if Divinity cannot see Otto as well. So Otto uses his Omega Warrior to keep stomping the ground and cover the area with dusty smog. Now both players have no idea about each other's actual position. Otto flies hidden behind rocky stakes. Turns out if Divinity cannot see his opponent he cannot keep the illusions going on. Omega Warrior now flies towards the real Divinity after the smog clears. It is unsafe to wander in plain sight and get tricked by an illusion or grabbed by telekinesis again so he flies out of sight using his agileness to move between the meteors. Divinity knows Otto’s position but his powers grab hold of the meteors rather than the Omega Warrior. Otto punches the rocks using super strength and uses the broken pieces as shields, hiding his body behind moving around avoiding Divinity’s sight. Frustrated Divinity creates a portal that engulfs both Omega Warrior and his shield, taking them somewhere far.  Divinity takes the time to reshape another meteorite into a spade near a portal he opens. Otto flies like superman with a fist pointed towards Divinity’s portal opening point. Alisha, Arun and Beth are on the edges of their seats begging Omega not to come out through the portal. The woman in her hospital bed has her hands holding one another in anticipation. People watching all over the world are excited and all the commentators believe this is it for Omega Warrior.  Omega Warrior emerges and charges fist first towards the pointed stake. The stakes break apart and Omega passes through it right towards Divinity. Otto grabs two broken pieces and shields himself charging right towards Divinity. Using his powers Divinity tries for another attack but Otto has already changed his position to somewhere else. Divinity tries to use his fourth ability now failing to detect Otto in this vast space battlefield whose life has healed to maximum once again.  Otto pushes the first rock towards Divinity while he flots behind the next one unnoticed in a completely different direction just sheilding himself from Divinity's sight. This simple tactic was able to trick the illusionist. Divinity keeps trying to use this ability but fails. He gets irritated and Omega comes out from behind some flying debris striking Divinity with a punch similar to the one he hit the stake with. Divinity’s health drops to zero in an instant. Omega Warrior wins.  With Otto’s victory both the players get transferred back into the original arena. Divinity is having a hard time facing his defeat. He still has no idea how his fourth super power was blocked during the fight. “I am sorry, I think Sam Riley the developer, he blocked your attack.” Otto tries to comfort Divinity. “I am Sam and I promised no to use my fourth attack yet this does not explain why I couldn’t. Only one explanation, you cheated” Sam attacks Otto enraged. The skies turn purple yet again and the clouds congratulate Otto Rey for his victory and advancement into Level 6. “Omega Warrior has won fair and square. He shall now have the Omega powers. I await you in Level 25.” This whole display and message is a message from the AI to Otto and he could feel it somehow. Does the AI want me to find it at Level 25 Otto thinks. Divinity starts to leave. Otto asks him about the deal now knowing his real identity but he just leaves. Back on the hospital bed the woman smiles. She gets a visit from a doctor and an elderly man. “Am I free to leave this place doctor?” She asks in a very eager tone. The man beside the doctor smiles showing her a signed discharge paper in his hand. “Yes, finally! I am ready to be back in ICBA. Otto Rey, I will find you soon” she talks almost silently to herself in excitement.
