Kaius' POV
I flexed my right shoulder the moment I got to the front door. It felt taut and I could feel the muscles in there begging for a sort of relief. Without giving it too much thought, I cracked the spot in between my neck and right shoulder, and the little pop sound that followed was satisfying to be honest. Not only that, I could already feel the relief spreading through the rest of my body.
I always hated the rest that came with working out. If I could, I tried to avoid it, but working out even more, but not today. Today, I wanted nothing more than to lay on my bed for at least a whole day. With the number of incidents that had happened in the last couple of days, I liked to believe I deserved that at least.
