I had no idea how long I sat in silence for, but I knew it was for an unhealthy amount of time. Even though I'd made peace with it, there very thought still wouldn't let me be.
Mirabel had betrayed me. And in the worst way possible too.
I never would have expected it. Honestly, I didn't even see it coming at all. Prior to this, if the moon goddess came down and told me face to face that she was going to stab me in the back, I would laugh so hard the moon goddess wouldn't mind killing me on the spot because she thought I was mocking her.
