Destiny's POV. I froze, rooted to my spot by his question. The world swirled around me and I found it hard to focus. Colors danced in front of my eyes, making my vision blurry. I swallowed a huge gulp, hoping the little action would help with my parched throat. It didn't. If anything, my insides felt dry and I felt a fire slowly stoke up from the inside. I was staring straight ahead, but for the life of me, I wasn't seeing a damn thing. I knew I wasn't alone.
