Destiny's POV
I had no idea what was going on, but I was tired of things going horribly wrong. In the last couple of days, my mental health had suffered more damage than I thought was actually possible. Emotionally, I wasn't spared either, and now as I watched Carter speed down the road to only the goddess knows where, I couldn't help but feel like I was going to add the physical aspect to the list of the parts of my life that had been affected.
Shit.
My stomach churned and no matter how many breathing exercises I tried to do, none of them actually worked. I wasn't even sure I was doing them the right way . Just halfway through them, I found myself stopping for one reason or the other. The reason that I could actually put a finger to though, was fear.
