I was unlucky, and I already knew it. It was a fact I'd come to terms with, but even at that it still didn't reduce the number of catastrophes that fell my way. It felt like at every turn in my life I was always bumping into some sort of trouble or the other. They usually came in different shapes and sizes, different forms and with different consequences too.
