Destiny's POV
I jerked awake suddenly, almost like I'd been forced to wake up. Pain spread through the side of my skull and I winced. I bit down on my bottom lip as I willed the pain to go away, but, no matter what I tried to do, the pain just wouldn't leave. I slowly turned my head to the side, maybe if I could hold my head in a certain angle, the pain would slowly ease out.
Lies. They were all lies. Even the mere thought of turning my head sent more aches around my skull. I originally thought I would try to give myself a head massage, but with the way things were going at the moment, I would have to pass on that.
