Destiny's POV
I ran, ran as fast as my legs could carry me. If I was being honest, it wasn't exactly a lot but was I going to stop? No way. I winced as an intense jolt of pain shot up my legs. With each step I pushed onto the ground, I felt closer to my legs blowing up.
I swiped my hand over my forehead, hoping to catch the beads of sweat that were cascading down my face and into my eyes. If I was more calm, I would have probably been able to get all in one swoop, but I couldn't. Not now.
I grimaced as I looked ahead, praying my destination was closer than I'd expected. My breaths came out in short rasps, and I was this close to passing out. A searing pain bloomed in my chest and It only meant one thing; if I didn't stop anytime soon, I would pass out, and probably die too.
