Destiny's POV
A loud groan slid past my lips, forcing me awake. The moment I roused up from whatever deep slumber I was in, I regretted it immediately. A sharp pain from the back of my skull had me doubling over in pain. My face contorted into a million emotions, each one expressing a different level of pain and sadness.
Why was this happening to me?
I'd barely had enough time to voice out the rest of my thoughts when something reached my ears. I felt the hairs at the back of my neck stand on end as I felt someone's presence behind me. I shuddered as a cold raced down my spine, before spreading throughout my body. I had no idea who it was yet, but with the eerie feeling that washed over me the moment he'd appeared, I wasn't sure I wanted to know anymore.
