Lexi's POV
I was sitting at my table doing an assignment when my phone suddenly rang. I glanced at it, seeing that it was Mady, I smiled and picked it up.
"Hey Lexi," she said in a chirpy voice.
"Hey," I replied.
"What are you doing?" she asked curiously.
"An assignment. Why do you ask?" I inquired.
"That's so boring. I know something that might cheer you up," she said.
"I'm not moody. Why would I need cheering up?" I asked in surprise.
"But, you had a cold. You will need some warming up," she insisted. I dropped my pen and leaned into my chair.
"Where is this going?" I asked skeptically.
"There's a party at my place tonight to congratulate a certain someone on his arrival back into this city," she explained.
