23: Under the sheets

Lexi's POV I tore the sheets I was writing on, scrunched it up and threw it on the floor of my bedroom. My room was in a mess, they were papers laying all around. I tried to solve an equation again but I couldn't. I groaned and flung the notebook across the room. This was hopeless. I've been at it for hours but I couldn't get one question right. All I achieved was littering my room. Was I that dumb? I didn't even realize it until the principal called my attention to it. I screamed out of frustration clearing out the entire content of my table. I suddenly heard a knock on my door. "Lexi? Is everything okay?" mum asked worriedly. "I'm fine," I replied.
