Lexi's POV
"My eyes? Why?" I asked curiously.
"Just close them," he repeated. I did as he asked and snapped my eyes shut. I suddenly felt him behind me. My heart raced with anticipation as something cold grazed my collarbone.
"You can open your eyes," he said. Opening my eyes, I gazed down at my neck and I was met with the most beautiful diamond necklace I had ever seen. It glistened brightly. I took a closer look and it was a breathtaking moon and star piece.
"Wow," I gasped, holding the necklace in my trembling hands in awe.
"I didn't know if you would like it but I wanted to gift you something special, something that shows how much you mean to me," he said with a warm smile. Tears welled up in my eyes as my fingers grazed it fondly. I looked into his gray orbs and I was speechless
