"Are you surprised as to how I found out?" she asked cutting me off. "I'm not stupid Mason. Although you lied to me, I knew what was going on all along. Did you think I was going to buy your story of wanting to go to the bathroom?" she inquired.
"You knew all this while but you didn't say anything?" I asked.
"The topic made you uncomfortable and I didn't want you to feel that way. That was why I pretended not to notice and I didn't say anything," she replied.
