Mason's POV
It's been two days since Lexi and I kissed in the maze. Two days of confusion and pure torture. To crown it all she had avoided me like a plague. We've had so many activities these past two days but she has avoided me in every single one. Whenever I tried to talk to her, she would make up an excuse to run away without looking at me. This was all so confusing. I've been trying to figure out what happened between us but I couldn't come up with any reasonable explanation. Solving a mathematical problem wasn't as complex as this. I groaned out of frustration.
"This is the fourth time you are groaning in one minute. What's going on?" Torres asked. It was evening and we were both currently in our room resting after the day's activity of a game of volleyball between both schools.
