I glanced towards him in shock and our eyes met. He had been staring at me while we spoke and I didn't even realize it. His words tugged at my heartstrings. I wasn't expecting the sudden confession so I didn't know how to react. What was this? Could it be that perhaps I had been completely wrong about him? I hoped that wasn't the case because that would mean that I was unfair to an innocent person. At first, I was only attracted to his looks. Every girl was, but something was changing in the way I viewed him and I couldn't quite place my finger on it.
