DEVON’S POINT OF VIEW.
"Devon, you're getting married," Dad said. That makes my eyes widen.
"What the f**k, Dad?! What are you saying?" I said while still processing what dad said to me.
"Watch your mouth, Young lady! You don't have a choice but to marry the only son of the Mendez Family. Whether you like it or not. Leave the Yagami guy when you still have time!"
Dad walked out, and I cried a lot when I heard what he said a while ago. I don't want to break up with Sean. I can't leave without him. I love him so much, and he's the only guy I want to marry, and not that Mendez guy!
I wiped my tears and ran to my room to call Sean.
