“Hey, where do you want me to put these roots?”
I balanced several glass jars against my hip as I pulled them from a storage shelf in the back room of Fae’s herbal shop.
She'd been right. I'd completely fallen in love with this place.
The shop felt like something pulled straight from a dream. Shelves overflowed with herbs, roots, dried flowers, and plants of every variety imaginable. A cozy little reading corner sat tucked in the back for anyone interested in learning about herbalism, while the café section near the front filled the air with the comforting scent of tea and fresh pastries.
It was perfect.
