When we got back to the club, Tina waved at me with a bright smile as she left with a friend I vaguely recognized. As soon as we were alone, Will pulled me close. This came so sudden, I did not expect it.
Butterflies erupted in my stomach, and I instinctively wrapped my arms around his neck. The music swirled around us, but all I could feel was him, warm, steady, and magnetic.
We danced slowly, our bodies moving naturally together. I had never been this close to someone before, and every brush of his hand or shift of his weight sent a thrill through me. His presence was intoxicating, and for the first time that night, I felt completely swept away.
