Mourning to himself while starting the car. *Cellphone rings* "Hello bob, where am i gonna pick you?" Talking to his friend while driving the car. "Sorry Derek, I can't go with you. I have a diarrhea, my mom had to take me to hospital. Can you say to Ms. Gwen that we worked out that project ? This is so embarrassing." "What's so embarrassing ? You're sick. You can just report it when you're okay. I'll go to the woods by myself then. I'll call you again if I find something. Bye." *Derek drive to the woods and when he is nearly at the road entrance of the forest he saw a couple also going same way as his. "Seems like I have company." He said to himself while driving away from them and going in the deep side of the forest. As he step the pedal for break, a loud screech was heard and the car stopped. He goes down from the car and slam the door. He gets his things at the back of the car when his shirt stuck with something sharp and when he pulls it, it tore. "This jeep's rusty, my god! dad why you don't let me have a good car ?! This doesn't even have a decent roof ! what if it rains?!" He started to yell to the woods for he knows no one will hear him. "I will make him buy me a decent car!" His voice is very loud and decided, for he is dedicated to make a bet later to his dad at home, and get car he want. *A thought of flashback appeared in his mind. "For your project, find a partner and here's what you need to do. Go to the woods, or forest, or whatever remote place to find a plant. You need to identify the plant and make a report all about this plant. The plant you will get will determine your grade. The rarest plant you get, the better the grade you will get from me. So to those who didn't do well to our last examination will get a chance to fill up the gap and make your final grade higher! You need to find a rare plant. The rarest plant will get an A+ and to those who will not be serious about this project will meet me again next year!" Ms. Gwen said before the bell rang and ended her class. "Oops! I nearly forgot you need the plant alive! so whoever got a dead plant, I'm so sorry too, you will have a failed score. Okay? That's all goodbye! See you on monday!" *end of flashback "Fvk!" he shouted after remembering what Ms. Gwen said. "If I can't find a rare plant today, this car will be stuck with me forever. I better find a rare one so I can get a better grade and ask my dad a brand new benz!" He thinks to loud that even the evil laugh from his mind got out. *Gets a big book out of his bag and a list of a rare plant with pictures. "I came prepared! Whahaha! Let the search begin!" He is sounded like a mad scientist and a psychotic nerd as he continue to talks to himself. *1000 years later* insert SpongeBob's voice. "I'm dead. I can't do this anymore." Said it to himself after lying on the ground to rest. *Took out the cellphone in his pocket to call bob. "No signal?!" He said loudly and disappointed. He sits down and get a drink on his bag. As he is drinking his water, he kinda space out and stared at a plant in the middle of 2 large stones not so far away from his place. He stand up slowly and go near it to see clearly. "Aha!" This is budding monkeyflower or the Mimulus gemmiparus! Oh my god! I hit the jackpot! Wooohoooo!!" He jump joyfully as he found a rare plant and the bet to his dad will be a success too, well if only his dad agrees to the bet. *Get a shovel in his bag He started to dig the soil in the sides of the plant when he remembered that he forgot the pot in the back of his jeep. He excitedly ran where the jeep is parked which is around half mile away from him and grab the pot right away when he reached there. When he was on his way back to the plant he saw the couple from earlier cleaning up the tree. "That's a weird tree, how did they end up there and how can they both be there?" Thinking and wondering, said to himself. "Well that's a good spot to camp." Said to himself as he leaves to pick up his plant. *a male voice speak "Wear this!" Derek then turn again his head upon hearing what the guy said and wondering what type of clothes she will wear. "a two piece swimsuit ?" Shane asked confusedly. "We're not even at the beach." She said. "Just wear it!" Derek immediately turn away his head from their direction and continue to walk in the place where the plant is. "That will be hot and steamy. Ehem!" Said silently to himself so they cannot hear him. He reached the place where the plant is and with a big smile slowly transferred the rare plant to the pot. He then slowly stand up and walk carefully treating the plant like a little baby. On his way back to his jeep, he sees again the couple and now they are having a fight. He heard the girl scream very loud as if she is in trouble. He hurriedly go to his jeep running, not minding his plant anymore. He put all his things in the back of the car when he get there and ride his car starting it fast. He drive as fast as he could to the place where the couple are, thinking maybe the girl died, or beating her to death, like what he watched to horror movies. Then, he saw not from far away that the guy's gonna punch her but luckily the girl dodge it. "Nice!" he said, seems surprised that he said it. He reached the place and stop at the right spot where the girl can hop to the roof of his car, since it is an open hood jeep. "Hop on!" He said it to them, shocked to himself as well but not a chance they would know for he looks so confident outside, like a knight in shining armor saving a princess from a monster. "Oh my god, she jumped! Drive now! Don't look at her!" thinking to himself after Shane hop to his car. "Are you alright? Are you hurt?" He said worriedly. "Yes I am fine, Thank you." she said to him. "Good to hear." said silently as if he doesn't want to hear it. *soft cry sound "Sh*t! She's crying?" thinking to himself panicking. "Derek Chill, chill, don't panic, stay cool." said to himself in his mind to calm himself for he do not like girls crying. *looks at her wiping away her tears "Do you need help miss?" asked worriedly to Shane. "Yes please, can I borrow some of your clothes before I go home?" said to him timidly. "How would you pay me ?" said it without thinking and realized it quickly. In his surprise to what he said, he stop the car suddenly, for safety purposes. Looking at his steering wheel in a daze, cursing himself in his mind for what he just said. Shane also felt silent to what he said, thinking he is not gonna help her and will drop her here if she doesn't pay, yet she has no money, and she is wearing a swimsuit in the middle of the road if I have nothing to offer. *Loud Silence* "Nevermind" Derek said without looking at her and about to start the engine again to distract themselves from the loud silence. "Wait!" Shane hold his hand which is on the steering wheel. Shane move over to his lap, getting all the confidence that she got and wrap her arms around his shoulders, leaning her chest to his, putting her lips near his ear, taking a deep breath and whisper to him, "Am I indebted to you? Can I pay you with a kiss? That is all I can offer." she whispered. Derek's mind went blank as her warm breath softly tickles his ear making it hot and red by her sweet whisper and when he heard the word kiss, his heart beats fast and wild, nervous yet weird, he feels like there are butterflies dancing in his stomach. Shane released him from the embrace and then lean her face closely to Derek. With both arms around his shoulder and her chest pressed against his, and the paperback slid between their stomachs, Derek blankly stares at her eyes and Shane at his lips, tempted, but on a second, she look at his eyes as if she was readily made to do it but in an instant, she fell weak in the deep gaze of the guy he just met, as if his eyes was hypnotizing her into him. Looking at each other for a long time, feeling a heavy chest, releasing warm breaths that both of them can feel, Shane fell first into his deep brown eyes surrendering her own into a sleep, drawing her lips to his warm breath then into his red lips, wanted to feel it, thinking its softness. Derek, on the other hand, sits there like a statue feeling sleepy as well to the warm and soft lips that touched his for the first time, his mind went blank as she kiss his lips in a short time yet feels long enough to put him into a trance and totally forgot the situation they are in for a moment. Shane slowly get up, breathing heavily for she holds her breath to feel his lips, which is warm and soft indeed. Looking up to his deep brown eyes again but his eyes were still sleeping yet about to open, her arms still wrapped at his shoulder, Derek looked into her eyes deeply and reached out to her cheeks as if it has its own mind, brushing her little tear from earlier that still stuck in the corner of her eye. Suddenly she take her hands out of his shoulder and wrap it around his waist instead leaning towards his chest to hear his heartbeat, hugging him to feel his warmth for she finds comfort at him weirdly. Surprised, Derek then put his hands at her hair brushing it over and over again feeling its curly yet silky brown hair, like he has been hypnotize and can't control the movement of his body. Shane, on the other hand, is feeling such comfort that she doesn't felt at Colton back then, but to him she feel at ease. *A car honk not so far away from them They instantly came back to their senses, Shane immediately sit down and take back her arms moving to her own sit, sitting properly like nothing had happen, and in a dead malice she looks to her side part of the window. On the other hand, Derek instantly woke up from his trance by the loud sound and sit properly learning and realizing what happened a while ago, immediately start the engine to avoid the awkward situation, driving out of there and going to his house to lent her some clothes. -end of Episode 1-
