When Darcy Spat her past at me, I instantly hated myself, I loathed I reminded her of that, and I detested she has gone through that. She is right I forced something intimate on her, it should have been an action of love not a show of dominance! I raced out the room as fast and I could, I mind linked Kane ‘ you should have f*****g told me that Darcy was the she-wolf teen that lost her innocence that night Kane!’ ‘Riven it wasn’t my story to share as her Alpha I must protect her’ Kane said ‘yeah well great f*****g job you did!’ I argued I know Kane wasn’t responsible for what happened, but I was furious at him all our years of friendship, and he couldn’t warn me! maybe had I known I wouldn’t have destroyed any chance of happiness she deserved!
once I was outside I let Jace tear through my clothes and I ran! I needed to be far away from Darcy I don’t deserve her! I never have, and I never will, I went to the top of the waterfall where we first saw Sinnix where she stood strong and beautiful, I used to come here the past 3 weeks when I was waiting for Darcy to shift back it reminded me of her Happiness and I pleaded to the goddess, if she brought her back I would see to her looking that happy every day. I sat at the edge I shifted back to myself and for the first time in my adult life I cried.
“Riven” I heard her soft warm I dismissed it. thought it’s my mind playing tricks, why would she even be here, but then I hear my name again I turn around, and I look at Darcy standing there in a lilac robe I hid in a tree should she ever come back here and need clothes? She moved closer and kneeled down put her hand on my cheek and wiped my tears away “Riven I’m sorry I shouldn’t have thrown that at you, I was just so mad that you marked me. I always dreamed of being marked by someone who loves me” she said with concern in her eyes “I do Love you Darcy I’m so sorry” I cried “I know that now, and I love you too” she whispered and pushed her lips on mine.
