Where the f**k did she go! I search my room nothing! I turn around, and I see Emily, I have known her since she was a child and I knew that face what has she done?

“Riven I’m so sorry I didn’t realise she was your mate” she said upset

“what happened?” I replied trying to control my anger

“well I assumed she was just another she-wolf you bring around here, so I showed her out” she paused before continuing

“Riven, I explained to her, she wasn’t your usual type I was just having a little banter with her about your normal type of she-wolf you bring here. when I saw her I thought maybe you taste level grown, but I don’t think it came across that way I’m sorry” she pleaded

“f**k! How long ago did she leave?” I asked

“only about 30 mins ago” Emily said

“great I should be able to catch her and explain thanks” I said heading to the door

“sorry Riven” Emily call out after me

“it’s fine Em not your fault!” I couldn’t be mad at her Emily is like my sister, she is Darcy’s age as well, and I know her heart it’s pure she never would have tried to hurt my mate intentionally.

When I got to Darcy’s house, she wasn’t home

it was stormy and raining it’s smelt like Darcy, I link in with Jace to trail, we caught her scent that lead me to the edge of the woods.

I found her and Lucas clothes, she better not have stripped in front of him! fury burned through me, she is mine, no one else should get to lay eyes on her, I trail her scent to a lake with a magnificent water fall at the top of the waterfall I saw a towering black wolf leaping into the water, when he reappeared from the water, the wolf had gone it was Lucas.

At the top of the waterfall there stood the most beautiful wolf! she was a silver that was almost blue, she was tall, and you can see the strength radiating from her, it was Sinnix.

Jace was so mesmerised seeing his mate standing there gracefully jumping into the water, then Darcy appeared from the water, goddess! she was beautiful! her face was full of happiness watching her play made me happy, I hope once I can cause her look that happy too.

They proceeded to a shallow end exposing her large breasts she did not conceal herself in presence of Lucas, why was she so comfortable? Have they been more than friends at one point? Jace was stirring in me and jealousy filled us both then I heard it they had wished to be each other’s mates!

I did everything in my power to keep Jace in, killing Lucas will not make Darcy accept me quicker, I moved toward them because I had to put a stop to this conversation, that’s when I heard Lucas inform Darcy how to break our mate bond.

she held back with her arms out and started to accept my rejection, all I saw was red! no she is mine I rushed right to her, I cupped her head to a side and I sunk my teeth into her neck.

I felt her curvaceous body against mine I wanted her is my arms is where she belonged. I could smell her lust, at that moment I drew away from Darcy, and she just froze.

what have I done! Next minute a solid blow landed across my face it was Lucas.

“you forced your mark on her!” He screamed whilst landing another punch, f**k this kid was strong! he shifted into his wolf, I went to stand my ground ready to shift when Darcy ran between us. “Onyx you can’t attack the Beta!!!” she commanded “bring back Lucas now!” Lucas shifted back

“Lucas look at me, run home!” She pleaded

“no” Lucas barked at her

“you have to! I’m marked now there is nothing you can do! It’s done!” she said

I watch Lucas go from rage to sadness she was staring at him they were f*****g mind linking!

He kissed her on the lips seeing that killed me and it took everything to stop Jace from coming out. Lucas shifted In Onyx and ran away.

she sent him away? What did that mean? She turned to face me, but something was off the there was no Darcy in her, she was devoid of emotion.

she touched my chest her contact put me at ease.

“Darcy?” I asked

she moved my hair and exposed my neck she bit down hard marking me in return, the feeling was nothing like I felt before, it was bliss! I was 100 percent devoted to her.

She pulled away I didn’t want that, I wanted her, I needed her.

“Riven you had no right to Mark me without my permission! How could you take that moment away from me! what were you hoping to get?

How could she not know! why else would I do that.

“You! I want you!” I pleaded

Ha! You don’t want me! and you certainly did not get me! You have lost me you will never see me again, I’m sorry that your efforts to appease our alpha failed, I hate you! she said coldly, ‘appease our alpha’ what does she mean, but the last words cut me deep, she hated me! how do I fix this now! Then It hit me! that’s what she is referring to she must have heard Kane ask about our progress f**k! That’s when she shifted and all I saw was Sinnix.

“Sinnix bring Darcy back” I was using my Beta voice.

But Sinnix just shook her head I got the feeling that Darcy would be fighting her. The fact I couldn’t command her shift meant her will power was strong!

‘it’s my turn I want to meet my mate’ Jace demanded

‘SHUT UP JACE LET ME THINK’ I screamed at Jace I turned and looked Sinnix in the eyes Jace was right it was his turn maybe our wolf selves could fix this mess I have created.

Jace took over whilst I stood back watching Sinnix and Jace connect, the way Darcy and I should have.
