Once Onyx was gone, I turned to deal with Riven. he wasn’t happy about my kiss with Lucas I could hear his wolf growling with in him, but I didn’t care! But why did he? He only made me his mate on Alphas orders maybe he was angry that he would let the alpha down. I felt Sinnix burning to take over but not to meet Jace because she was furious at Riven, I walked slowly towards him, his eyes locked on to mine, with out saying anything I put my hands on his chest, he seemed to calm at my touch. “Darcy” he whispered

I can’t believe this magnificent creature could hurt me so much and what was worst of all I was stupid for thinking he could love me! what he just did wasn’t love it was control he wanted to trap me.

My option of having of Lucas and I giving in to our feelings gone! “Darcy?” Riven asked again braking my inward spiral I could sense he wasn’t sure what I would say or what I would do, but knew exactly what I was going to do, I simply moved the hair from his face lifted up on my tippy-toes to his exposed neck and I bit down hard marking him, he let out a moan and embraced me tightly and I could feel his manhood growing against my body, But I felt nothing, I felt cold unmoved by his clear desire and I moved back pushing him away. His eye seems to lose focus then they studied me.

I mind link with my parents saying goodbye but shut any response from them. I set my focus on Riven. I pushed his arms off me and stood my ground he tried to reach out and I took a step back I felt tears running down my face yet I wasn’t crying.

“Riven, you had no right to Mark me without my permission! How could you take that moment from me what were you hoping to get?” I demand with cold authority

“You! I want you!” He said desperately reaching out trying to touch me again I slapped him away in the moment not looking like a beta to an alpha but more a scare puppy.

“Ha! You don’t want me! and you certainly did not get me!” I said shoving him “You have lost me you will never see me again, I’m sorry that your efforts to appease our alpha failed, I hate you!” I cried.

Confusion and hurt crossed his face he went to say something, but I didn’t care I no longer felt anything, all I can do now is give myself completely to Sinnix and I felt my wolf take over, and I just faded in to her conscience hearing the faint of Rivens voice screaming my name.
