By the time I got back to their house I was absolutely exhausted, my feet were killing me but hopefully this meant I could actually sleep, I noticed the house was quiet, like that kind of quiet where all you can here is a clock ticking down the hall, and your own breathing. As silently as I could I made my way up a few flights of stairs and eventually found the room I was staying in, I made sure to lock the door behind me, checking for any pairs of curious eyes before I pulled off my shirt and pants, and flopped into bed, it didn’t take long for my eyes to feel heavy, even if the bed felt empty.
