Mr Anderson gave a brief laughter after the long silence. Rayan sat down next to his father.
"Son, are you ok?" Mr Anderson asked when he noticed that his boy was looking pale.
"I'm....
"He has a fever," Rose cut in.
"How are you feeling now? I hope you are well," Rose asked, touching his forehead to see if his skin was still hot.
"Im good."
"You had a fever, and you didn't bother to call me." Mr Anderson turned to his son.
"It's nothing, dad, and besides, I didn't want to disturb you. You have so many things to do. "
"Nothing is more important to me than you, Rayan, so please call me next time,"
"Ok, dad," Rayan noded.
"Should I get you a tea or something?" Rose asked Rayan
"A wine will do,"
"A wine, you want to drink a wine while you are sick." Rose squirk.
"It's a wine, a non alcoholic wine,"
"And so, I will bring you a tea."
"I don't want that," Rayan frowned
"Did I ask for your opinion?" she hissed and went to the kitchen to make tea.
Rayan looked at his dad and saw him smiling.
"What?"
"I like her. She's totally your type, " his dad said.
"No, dad. She's crazy. "
"That's left for me to decide,"
A few minutes later, Rose brought the tea and gave it to him.
"So Rose, I would like to know more about you. I'm glad that I've met you in person, " Mr Anderson said, and Rose explained everything about herself to him. They bonded well.
"Hello, I'm present here," Rayan waved at them.
"Come on, son. I'm just getting to know my daughter in law we'll. Anyway Rose dear, I would like to see you on Sunday. Will you be busy." Mr Anderson asked
"No."
"Good. Rayan, bring the girl over for dinner on Sunday evening, " he said, and his son nodded.
"I'm proud of you, son. I'm always proud of you, " his dad said and ruffled his hair.
"Anyway, I have to go now,"
The two bid the old man goodbye and went back in the house.
"Your father is a nice guy," Rose said.
"Yeah, he is to other people but mean to me," Rose said sarcastically, and Rose laughed.
"That's a lie,"
"Of course not," he said, and Rose giggled.
"My body is heating up. I need to shower, " Rose said.
"Like seriously, babe. I love the view of you right now. You look sexy, I wish I could just eat you right here now, " he bit his lower lip.
"Then I guess I will leave now," Rose said as she picked up her bag to leave.
"Hey, wait..." he grabbed her by the wrist.
"I'm just kidding," he said, and Rose chuckled. He wrapped his arms around her body.
"How was the party?" he asked
"It was nice,"
"Hope no guy dare to look at you," he wispered in her ears.
"They were so many. Some even touch me, " she said, and Rayan burst into laughter.
"Liar, no one dare mess with my girl," he said, and she chuckles
"The party was really boring for me," she said, and he frowned
"Wasn't Titus there to entertain you?"
"He was busy with his girlfriend,"
"I wish I was there, but it's nice having you here with me,".
She broke away from his embrace.
"I need to shower Rayan "She said, facing him.
"I also need to shower,"
"Meaning," she looked at him
"We can bathe together."
"You're crazy " she scoffed, and he laughed.
"You can take a shower in my room. I will wait for you downstairs here, " he said
"Now you're talking some sense."
She went into his room and took a nice shower. After that, she wore one of Rayan's T-shirts and a boxer.
"Not too bad," she muttered and went downstairs.
"Let's see who we have here," Rayan smirck, checking her out. His boxer fit her tight.
"So how do I look?" she asked, smiling.
"Perfect, beautiful, breathtaking, stunning, glowing, shining.....
He kept on naming...
"It's ok," she said, laughing.
"A thousand names could suit a damsel like you,"
"Funny," she smiled.
Rayan so much reminds her of Zara. The two are so good with their words. They definitely know how to impressed people.
The two of them sat down on the couch.
"Should I order for us to eat?" he asked, and she nodded.
After he placed the order. He placed his phone down.
"On Sunday evening, I will pick you up at your father's house." he said, and she looked at him.
"That's exactly what you said about Titus's party, and you didn't show up."
"I swear I'm gonna be there,"
"Promise," she said, and he laughed.
"Promise," he replied, and she nodded.
"Rose," he calls all of a sudden
"Yeah," she looked at him.
"Thanks for coming. I really do appreciate it, " He said, and she nodded.
"It's nothing," she said, and he smiled.
"All my life. I've only come across two nice people, my dad and Titus. So adding you to the list means a lot, " he explained.
"Anytime you need me. I'm just a call away, " she said, and he chuckled. Not too long, their order arrived. He paid the delivery man, and the man left.
"What did you order?" Rose asked, placing her aside.
"Fries and chicken "
The two of them set the dining table.
"You will be the one feeding me tonight," he said, and she looked at him.
"Why, can't you feed yourself?"
"Butterfly, please," he pouted.
"You look like a big baby," she laughed
"Then you're my Mommy," he said.
"You're too much, Rayan." She scoffed and smiled.
After the dinner was set. She started feeding him nicely.
"Mommy, you don't have to stress yourself. Come here," he pulls her on his laps.
"Rayan," She gasped
"What...aren't you comfortable?" he looked at her.
"You..." She was short of words.
"I'm comfortable." she just starred at him, and he was also looking back at her.
"I..."
"Shh, let's just stay like this for some time," he leaned closer. Their breath touching each other faces.
"All through my life, I've only come across one beautiful woman. But now it has become two, you're beautiful Rose "
Rose gulped down, and she could hear her heartbeat.
"Who is she?"
"Who?"
"Your first beautiful woman," she asked
"She's my mother," he said.
"Where is she now?" she asked again.
"I don't know, and I don't care to know," he said sternly.
"Why? Wasn't she a good mother to you? "
He just stays silent. She saw the sadness in his eyes.
"Rayan," She called
"Let's not talk about it. Come on, feed me. I'm starving."
He said, and she smiled and continued feeding him.
After they got through eating, they decided to watch a movie together. Rayan head was resting on Rose lap. After the movie ended, they had a good chat.
"Just because you always beat me doesn't mean you should boast," she frowned, and he laughed.
"It's true. I'm a better racer than you, " he laughed
"That's a lie. You're just lucky."
"Next month, the bike race competition will begin. I'm gonna beat you again, " he said
"In your dreams," she rolled her eyes.
They talk for sometimes till 1am in the morning.
"I'm sleepy now." she yarned.
"Come on, let's go to bed,"
Together, they went upstairs.
"I'm sleeping on the bed while you are sleeping on the ground," she said, getting on the bed.
"It's not fair," Rayan frowns
"So what. Do you think that we will sleep together?"
"But you are my girl," he said
"No, play girl,"
"Whatever," he hissed, and she laughed.
He spread a blanket down and took a pillow, while Rose laid down comfortable on the bed.
"Good night," she said.
"A bad night for me," he groaned.
Rose fell at sleep soon when Rayan noticed that she was fast asleep. He got up and went on the bed.
"Now it's time to sleep." he wrapped himself around her, and that was it.
