Chapter 17

The sounds of their lips came up so loud that Rayan used his tongue to travel Rose mouth. Her juicy lips were driving crazy , and he frowned when Rose broke the kiss, trying to catch her breath. She giggled when she saw the frown on his face.

"If you aren't angry, then while you are leaving" she asked, bringing the topic back.

"I have a meeting with someone." Rayan leaned on his car.

"You're lying," she muttered, and he smiled

"I'm serious. I will be back to drop you home, " he said

"No need, my dad called and said he will come pick me up," she explained

"Alright then, take care."

"Alright."

He kissed her forehead and got in his car and drove off. He went to the CIA Headquarters. He went straight to Joseph office.

"Hi sir," he greeted when he entered.

"Ooh Rayan, you are here. Come sit. "

Rayan noded and took a seat.

"How was school today?" Joseph asked.

"School was fine,"

"So tell me everything you saw that day," Joseph said, referring to Rayan's encounter with Angelica, and Rayan narrated everything to him.

"Mysterious. After so many years, she suddenly showed up. " Joseph raised his brows.

"I want to get this over, sir. I want her arrest. "

"But we need to involve your father," Joseph said.

"No, I know my reasons. Please don't tell my father." Rayan pleaded, and the officer nodded.

"Okay, what's your plan then?" Joseph asked

"I want you to start with the search again. I want her found and arrested at all cost. I don't want her to ruin anyone's family, " Rayan explained, and the officer nodded in agreement.

"Ok, I will do that, and you also need to be extra careful."

"I will, sir." Rayan noded.

"It's been a while since we hang out. Come on, let's go. I'm taking you out, " Joseph said.

The two of them went to a nearby bar. They had a few bottles.

"How's your family ?" Rayan asked.

"They are good. My boy is coming out of grade school this year. " Joseph smiled.

"Congratulations, sir."

"Thanks. My wife is also expecting another child. I feel proud of my wife. I'm rarely at home, but she's still keeping the family intact. "

"I guess that's what it takes to be a mother." Rayan drank from his glass.

"You're are right, and I will give her all the happiness in the world," Joseph said, and Rayan smiled.

"Kid, don't worry. You're going to get a good wife who will shower all her love on you and your children. " Joseph smiled.

"Even if she don't. I'm still gonna love my children unconditionally."

"Smart kid,"

They had a good time together and later parted ways. It was already evening when Rayan reached home.

He got down from his car, and Jacob walked up to him.

"Good evening, boss."

"Good evening."

"You have a guest, sir," Jacob said.

"A guest." Rayan looked at him.

"Yes, sir," Jacob nodded.

He wasn't expecting anybody, so who could it be. He entered the house, and to his surprise, he met Marissa sitting on the couch.

"Hey," Rayan called out to her.

"Ray, you're here." she ran and hugged him.

"I was getting bored of sitting alone." she looked at him.

"How did you find my house?" He asked.

"Well, finding your house isn't that hard," she said

"Unbelievable," Rayan muttered.

"You must be tired, come and rest." she took his school bag from him and made him sit on the couch.

She was about to help him untied his boots strings when he stopped her.

"What are you doing?" he looked at her.

"I'm helping take off your boots,"

"You don't have to do that. You're my guest Marissa, " he said, and she smiled.

"No, I'm not. You might not remember me, but I do. So come on, don't stop me. "

She kneeled down and untied his strings. Rayan just looked at her weirdly, and his mind went to a certain little girl and her family who helped him. The girl was clumpsy and clingy like Marissa.

She placed his boots aside, and then she sat next to him.

"Where did you go after school. I searched all around for you, " she said.

"Well, I went out. Where's your cousin that you talked about? " he asked.

"I don't know." her face expression changed

"You two don't get along,"

"He's too boring for my liking," she said.

"It's a guy," he asked, and she nodded.

"Won't he be searching for you?"

"We don't live together, and besides, I don't care. I will call my driver when I want to go home." She said.

"And your parents "

"They are dead. It's just me and my cousin with his parents, " she added, and he nodded.

"Ray, I'm hungry." she pouted

"Let me order something for you,"

"Yeah," she jumped with excitement.

Marissa was an incredible talker. Always talking and talking and Rayan was enjoying her company. He seems to bond with her quickly.

"Here take"...

She fed him some of the food. Her behaviour was childish, and he saw her as a little sister. Marissa just turned 18, so Rayan was 5 years older than her. They played a lot of video games, and it was finally night time. Marissa called his driver, and he came to pick her up.

"I would like to come visit you again," she said, and he nodded.

"You can come over for the weekend," he said, and her eyes widened

"Really?" she asked, and he nodded.

"Thanks, Ray. You're the best, " she hugged him again.

After she left Rayan's house, she went straight home. When she arrived, she met her angry cousin sitting on the couch. Turns out her cousin is Eric.

"Where are you coming from?" he looked at her.

"Out," she said.

"I know you're coming from out. So don't give me that stupid answer." He frowned.

"I went out with my friends," she siad.

"With whose permission "

"I'm not a baby. I'm 18 now, " she said. He stood up and walked to her.

"And so. You're are 18 but still immature, " he snapped.

"I'm not immature. I can take care of myself, " she frowned.

"If you can, then tell dad to take you away from me. You're so annoying. " He glared at her.

"Not like I wanted to be here with you. I don't know why Uncle insisted that I still with a nuisance like you. " she glared back at him

"What did you just call me?" he stepped forward.

"Clean your ears so that you can listen next time."She pushed him aside and rushed upstairs.

"Marissa...

"Marissa, come back here," He yelled, but she did returned nor looked back.

"Dad will hear this,"he muttered and sat down. His phone immediately ring. It was Melvin calling. To exchange numbers doing school hours.

"What is it?" Eric asked sternly.

"Angrybird.." Melvin laughed.

"If you call to annoy me more than don't," Eric snapped.

"Relax, dude. I called to tell you that you should meet me at my usual spot so we can start planning, " Melvin said.

"Ok."

"And don't forget to bring dinner also,"

"Feeding you wasn't part of the deal," Eric said.

"I know, but I can't think on an empty stomach, you know."

"Whatever," Eric hissed and cut the call.

He looked up again, but Marissa was nowhere. He threw his phone on the sofa and went in the kitchen.

The next day, Rayan didn't go to school. He went to his father office.

"I can see that you can't wait to take over the company," Mr Anderson said, and Rayan laughed.

"Come on, dad, I just want to help you with some documents."

"I can see that," Mr Anderson laughed.

"So how's Rose. How's your relationship with her? " his father asked.

"We are good, dad,"

"Don't lose her son. She's a jewel, " his father said, and he nodded.

After he left his father's office, he was on his way home when two cars crossed infront him and his car ran into a tree. Luckily, he wasn't hurt.

"What the f**k" he cursed. He got down from the car angrily and met an old man standing in front of the cars.

"Geez, I thought you were dead already . The old man laughed, and Rayan frowned.

"What the f**k was that" he asked standing in front of the old man.

"What the f**k was what" the old man smirck and Rayan immediately lost it. He grabbed the old man by his shirt collar.

"You don't want to mess with me, old hag." His eyes darkened.

"Ooh, I would love to see what Will has been training you," the old man said, and Rayan raised his brows.

"You know my father," he asked.

"I more than know him," the man grinned, and Rayan's hands tightened.

"Who the f**k are you old man " He asked the man laugh and then he looked at Rayan coldly

"Your grand father, Dante Anderson. Nice to meet you, grandson. "

Rayan hands immediately dropped as he gasped out of shock. What game is life playing him. First, it's Angelica and now his sudden grandpa...Unbelievable
