"PLAYA "

Chapter 7

Her sudden appearance made him feel that things were about to take another turn.

"What is she doing here. No, I won't let her escape this time, " he thought to himself

"Hey Angelica,"

He shouted, and the lady turned around. Immediately, she recognised Rayan. She took off and ran.

"Hey, stop,"

He chased after her, but the lady was fast enough to escape.

"Darmn, I lost her," he groaned frustratedly.

He went back to his car and entered it.

"I should call Titus."

He called Titus, and he picked up immediately

"Dude, wassup," Titus said

"I saw her," his voice trembles

"Who?"

"Angelica "

"What, when, where, how?" Titus was totally confused and shocked

"I don't know," Rayan muttered

"Bro, are you ok. Should I come over? " Titus asked concernly.

"I'm fine, Titus. She no longer has an effect on me, " Rayan said. He's not even sure if what he said is true.

"I think you should tell your father," Titus suggested

"No, it's been 8 years now. I don't want to bring up the past.

"You're right." Titus agreed .

"See you on campus tomorrow," Rayan said

"Ok, goodnight."

"Goodnight."

Rayan off the call and drove home. He went straight upstairs to his room. He just laid down on his bed. He was disturbed, after 8 good years, and she suddenly appeared out of nowhere.

"Why is she back. What does he want? "

He rolled back and forth on his bed, thinking then his mind went to Rose.

"Yeah, Rose. She's in Rose's community, and from what I know. Rose's dad is the richest man in that community. I hope she's not after him, I have to warn Rose. But I'm not sure if she lives there....gosh, I'm going crazy."

The next morning, Rose woke up early. She was just smiling even herself couldn't understand why.

"Good morning, dad," she greeted her father

"Good morning. You look happy this morning, " her dad said

"Really," she squirk

"Yeah. I noticed that you're just smiling a lot this morning .

"Yeah. Maybe because I had a goodnight rest" she said

"Are you sure about that?"

Carrie looked at her sister awkwardly. When she was going to her room last night, she heard voices coming from Rose's room.

"And what do you mean by that?" Rose glared at her sister

"Last night when I passed your room, I heard voices, like you were talking to someone,"

Rose heart skip a beat. What if Carrie had entered and met Rayan at that particular time. She would have gotten in trouble.

"Of course, I was talking to someone....on the phone," she stuttered

"No, it can't be. I heard two different voices, "

"Stop being delusional, Carrie," Rose snapped

"I'm not. I know what I...

"Carrie, eat your food. It's ok," their father cut in.

Rose just smiled. After she got through eating, she got on her car and drove to school.

When Rose got on campus, the students couldn't stop staring at her. Some with hatred and some with admiration.

Some girls even brought flowers to congratulate her

"I'm so happy for you, Rose. Finally, you have won the playboy heart, " a girl said, and Rose smiled.

"And you guys look great together," another siad

"Thanks, guys."

She paid and hugged them. Right after the girls left, she saw Anna.

"Seems like you've become a celebrity since you started dating a Playa," Anna said, and they both laughed.

"Guess what?" Rose said.

"What?"

"My dad is back in the country. He came back yesterday. "

"Omg, are you serious?" Anna screamed excitedly

"Of course I am,"

"Then you didn't tell me last night that my man has returned home," Anna joked, and Rose laughed. Anna has always had a crush on Rose's father. Even Mr Parker is aware it. He can call her his small wife.

"You can still visit him," Rose said

"Of course," Anna laughed

"Anyway, let's go to class," Anna said

Rose wanted to ask Anna why she gave her number to Rayan, but she later decided not to. And speaking of Rayan, there was no sight of him anywhere.

She had an accounting class first thing in the morning. Anna is a science student, so she went to the science department.

Immediately Rose entered the class, the teacher walked in and he started the lesson.

Not too long, Rayan walked in. He looked extremely tired, and he had dark cycles.

"Class, let's welcome the student of the year," the teacher mocked, and the students laugh.

Rayan wanted to reply him but his eyes met with Rose, and she shook her head, signalling him not to.

"You can have your seat," the teacher said, and Rayan scoffed and went to his seat and bent his head down. He is too exhausted for lectures.

He had a nightmare last night that prevented him from sleeping.

"I wonder what's wrong with him," Rose thought to herself.

She looked at him, it was then she realised how handsomely beautiful this guy is. Everything about him is just cool and perfect, and she couldn't help but drool over him.

"Miss Parker, why are you stealing glances at Rayan instead of focusing?" Immediately the teacher said that Rayan eyes snapped open and their eyes met as Rose felt embarrassed.

"Haven't you heard the news. They are a couple " one the students said, and the rest burst into laughter.

"Children of nowadays," the teacher shakes his head and smiles.

"Please pay attention and not starred at your boyfriend," the teacher said, and Rose blushed

"Ok, sir," she noded.

She looked at Rayan and he winked at her.

"Rose what have you done. This Idoit must be thinking stupid about you " she scolded herself.

After the teacher left the class, Rayan also went out

"He's behaving strange today " she thought to herself.

During lunch break she went to her usual spot to have a piece of mind.

"Seems like someone is lost." She turned around, to see Rayan leaning against a tree.

"I wasn't lost. I was just having a piece of mind and you ,what are you doing here" she asked and he looked at her.

"What I'm doing here. What sort of question is that"

She roll her eyes and he laughed.

"You were acting strange in class today, is everything all right "

It took sometime before he muttered yes.

"Then can you explain to me about the dark cycles you have. Don't tell me you went to party after you left my house last night " she said and he chuckled

"Of course I didn't and besides parties don't give me dark cycles."he said

She just looked at him.

"Come on let's go eat" he said

"I'm not hungry "

"I don't take no for an answer butterfly " he said carry her in his arms.

"Rayan, put me down. Are you crazy " she yelled at him

"Of course butterfly I am but atleast I'm crazy about you"

She got stiffed in his arms, it's like her whole world stopped at that particular moment.
