Chapter 15

The family sat down. They had a nice time together, they played some games. After that, they had dinner and chit-chat for some time. Finally, it was time for them to go.

"We had a nice time here. Rose, you should call me sometimes so we can hang out more, " Sarah said

"That will be nice." Rose smiled.

"Sarah, you should just transfer to Betwel University. So you all can be together, " Mr Anderson suggested

"That's what I keep telling her," Titus said.

"I will talk to my parents about it," Sarah said, and the old man nodded.

"That will be nice, Sarah,"Rose added.

"Ok, we will leave now. See you guys on campus, " Titus said to Rayan and Rose

"Ok," Rayan said and hugged his friend. After that, Titus and Sarah left.

"I think you and Titus should get married on the same day," Mr Anderson said, smiling.

"Marriage, isn't that too far, dad?" Rayan turned to his father.

"Sooner or later, you will get married bro" his father tapped his shoulders, and Rose giggled.

The two of them later left the mansion.

"You're spending the night at my place," Rayan said as he drove

"Are you crazy? What will dad say?"

"Don't worry, I've already talked to your father, and he agreed,"

"Unbelievable." Rose was shocked. Her dad hardly let her sleep out, so how could Rayan convince him over something so easily.

"I don't understand. How did you do it?" she looked at him.

"I told you I've have my ways,"

Rose just stayed quiet until they reached Rayan's house.

"Sir, mam welcome," Jacob greeted.

"How are you doing?"Rose asked.

"I'm fine, mam," Jacob replied, and Rose smiled at him.

After they entered the house, Rose went to shower while Rayan stayed downstairs.

Rayan laid down on the sofa. He was so tired and wanted to rest a bit, but the ringing of the phone prevented him from sleeping.

It's CIA agent Joseph. His family personal secret agent.

"Hello, sir," he answered the call.

"Rayan, how are you doing?" Joseph asked

"I'm fine, sir,"

"I was told you came to look for me the other day."

"Yeah, sir, I wanted to see you," Rayan said as he got up from the sofa as he walked on the other side.

"Ooh, I was out of the country. I just returned last night, so why did you want to see me for? " Joseph asked

"I...I..."he was feeling sober again.

"Are you ok, kid?"

"She's back inspector." he finally let it out.

"Who?"

"Angelica. She's back. "

His eyes were red again.

"Where did you see her?" Joseph quickly asked.

"At my school mate place,"

"She lives there?"

"I don't know. I saw her in the community, "

"Did you tell your father?"

"I don't want to bother him with my problems."

"Don't be naive, Rayan. He's your father, and remember, this lady has not only hurt you but dad as well, " the inspector said.

"I don't want to bring up the past,"

"Still, you have to tell him. Don't keep him in the dark. It's not fair. "

"I'm sure I can handle it. I'm not weak anymore. I can take her down. " Rayan siad and the inspectors sigh.

"Meet me tomorrow in the afternoon. Is that possible?" The inspector asked.

"Yeah," Rayan quickly nodded.

"Alright, see you, bye,"

"Bye ,"

He offed the call, and when he turned around, he was shocked to see Rose standing behind him.

"How long have you been standing here?" He asked.

"I'm just coming," she said

"Did you hear anything?"

"No, I didn't. Was I supposed to hear anything? " she asked

"No," he said and put on a smile.

"Are you ok? Your eyes are red," she asked.

"I'm fine. It's just that dust entered my eyes. " he said

"Sorry."

"It's ok. I will go and shower "

He said and left. Rose looked at his retreating figure.

"What is he hiding, and what woman was he talking about?"

She was only able to hear a little of their conversation. A few minutes later, Rayan came downstairs. He's looking better than before.

He took a wine bottle and two glass cups and sat down next to Rose, who was busy on t****k.

"What are you watching?"he asked

"t****k videos, I'm making use of your free WiFi," she said, and he smiled. He empty some wine in the two glass cups and give one to her.

"Thanks," she said, and he nodded. The two of them were busy with their phones.

"Look at your girl," she said, showing him a video of Mara.

"She's not my girl," he frowned.

"Then who is she to you then?"

"A fuckmate I guess " he said and Rose hissed.

"All-time playboy," she scoffed.

"Aren't you a play girl also?"

"Of course I am but I don't f**k around like you "

"Oh really " Rayan chuckled.

"Are you trying to tell me that you're a V?" He leaned closer, and she looked at him.

"No man has ever f**k you before " he asked teasingly but Rose kept quiet regretting why she has to bring up such topic.

"I will take your silence as yes butterfly. Wow, I can't believe my girl is still a virgin. "

"There's nothing to boast of," Rose scoffed, and he smiled.

"So tell me when will I get the taste of your sweet honey," he winked at her.

"Jeez Rayan, you are rude." she pushed him off and was about to go, but he pulled her back down.

"I'm tired of you," she said, and he laughed.

"I'm just kidding butterfly," he said, but she was still glaring at him.

"Seriously, I'm just kidding," he groaned

"Good for you," she hissed.

The next day, the two got ready for school.

"See, my clothes fit you perfectly. All thanks to me for not having a big body, " he said, and she laughed.

"You can say that again.

They are wearing a matching outfit. A black boot, black shirt and black trousers

"Are we going to bury or what?" she said at their outfit.

"I don't know about you, but I am if anyone messes with my girl. Come on, let's go, we will have dinner at the cafeteria. "

"Ok,"

They got in a black Jeep and drove away. They reached on the campus, and immediately, they got down. All eyes were on them.

🗣Is this for real she's coming down from his car.

🗣wow, they are wearing a matching outfit.

🗣they look great together.

🗣Boyfriend snatcher.

There were a lot of comments, but they ignored it all.

"Couple of the year"

Anna teased as she approached them.

"Hi Anna," Rose hugged her friend.

"I'm loving the outfits." Anna smiled.

"It's king of swag plus fashion queen," Rayan said and winked at Rose.

"You can say that again," Anna laughed

"I'm running late for class now. See you girls later," Rayan said and left.

"Geez girl, you are on fire, but wait, how did guys wear the same thing?" Anna asked eagerly.

"Actually, on Friday, I met Rayan's dad,"

"Tell me it's a joke," Anna eyes widen.

"Of course not, babe. we met on Friday, he came at Rayan's place. Girlfriend, the man is so cool and sweet. Rayan and I even went to his house yesterday. I wish you were there to see the place. It's like heaven." Rose explained.

"Well, what do you expect, the world 3rd richest man," said.

"You're right."

"Hi ladies," they turned around to see Eric.

"Ooh Eric hi," Rose hugged him.

"You look happy this morning. I mean extra happy, " he said, and she smiled.

"I guess it's my day to smile,"

"I love your outfit,"he said.

"Thanks."

"Wassup, Anna!" he touched her cheeks, and she instantly blushed. Rose noticed it and smiled.

"H... How are you doing, Eric?" Anna asked.

"I'm good as always ,"

"I'm glad to hear that." Anna smiled.

"I have to go now. See you guys later, " Eric said and left.

Rose looked at her friend.

"Do you like Eric?" she asked.

"Uhn...what... yeah....I mean no. I don't like him, " Anna said nervously,

"Calm down, girl. I was just asking." Rose looked at her and smiled,

"Is that obviously?" Anna looked at her friend.

"Your feelings can't be hidden, Anna, and just know that I'm here to support you always, but I must say that I'm kinda hurt." Rose frowns.

"Why. Did I do something wrong? "

"Of course, how would you like someone over my father. Are you seriously no longer crushing on my father? " Rose pouted, and Anna laughed.

"Don't worry, I'm still your step mom," Anna cracked, and the two of them burst into laughter.
