Damien's POV My office was covered with smashed glass because I was f*****g pissed. “Calm yourself, Damien,” Primo, my second-in-command, said. I gave him the deadliest glare that I could afford. “I should be calm?” I yelled. “Did you f*****g see the way she flinched, Primo?” I ran my hands through my hair as I started pacing the room. “This whole deal was your idea, sending her to the midnight claim auction; did you forget?” “It wasn't me,” I yelled angrily and frustrated. “You know that better,” I whispered the last part. “I'm sorry, okay,” Primo said, raising his hand in defeat.
