Because of his last name, it reminded her of a dark memory she had back to that shitty world. "Pierce?" Cassiopeia repeated his name. "Yeah, do you know me?" Gael was surprised on Cassiopeia's reaction. "Is your brother Javier Benz Pierce?" Cassiopeia asked, which stunned Gael, it is his brother's name. "Do you know my brother?" Gael want to know what is her connection with his brother, he never heard of anything about his brother being connected with the best assassin anyone could know. "You could say that we worked together." Cassiopeia replied to his answer. "He was a great person to work with, a very good companion." To them it sounded like a lie but it was actually the truth, he was a great person to work with, though he broke Cassiopeia's heart. "I've never heard of anything like you working with my brother." Gael told Cassiopeia, he didn't heard anything like rumors, nor remember a mission where their family had to work with assassins from another organization. "The mission was arranged by the organization, it wasn't from your clan, the syndicate needed some help, and it was a secret mission, no people outside the mission know about this, that's probably why you didn't know about it." Cassiopeia affirmed it. "And it lasted for almost half a year, if your brother was gone for almost 6 months that is probably he was on that mission." That's the thing, him and his brother, is almost like they don't have any relationship, they treat each other coworkers when at work, strangers when not on work, and just acquaintance’s when in the house. The others would surprise if they introduce themselves as brothers, so he didn't know when was the time his brother worked with Cassiopeia. "We have a bad relationship, so I don't know when." Gael sounded disappointed about this and didn't push through the conversation. "That's enough conversation, I think you guys forgot about me, I'm Logan Anderson by the way." The guy in white suit introduced himself, his suit became brownish and he look a mess, all of them actually looked a mess. "You guys look like a mess." Cassiopeia noticed their clothing, wanted to offer a helping hand. "You guys have high stamina right?" She raise a question to know if it is okay for them to be traveling by foot for such a long time. "Yeah we do, we were trained since we were a kid." Haru boasted themselves to Cassiopeia. "Then lets get start walking, it is almost sunset, we might encounter much more stronger beasts at night time." Cassiopeia started to walk and lead the group, they started to walk back to the direction the guys came from, the place they spawned to. "Hey, are you sure that it is okay to walk here?" Kang asked, still terrified from earlier experience. "Yeah it is okay, these Leshens are just like normal trees, once cut down from its roots its dead, so you don't need to be afraid of them anymore." Cassiopeia stated nonchalantly. "Stop being a pussy." Haru demanded to Kang. "Oh shut up, as if you weren't screaming from fright earlier, I'm sure as hell that it was you who were screaming like a little girl from earlier." Kang did a comeback to Haru. "Ooh, you like being treated that way Haru, for me I will not allow myself to be treated like that." Logan instigating a fight between the two Asians. "You wanna fight huh, let me see what you got, weeb." Haru started a fight with Kang. "And Logan once again started a fight, let the round one begin." Logan seemingly having fun with the fight he started. "God, I wish I have my phone to record this." He added. "Okay that is enough, we are in a unfamiliar place and save your energy for running, we might encounter more monster in this place." Edward broke off the fight, which put an end to Logan's happiness. They stopped fighting and started walking again. They just kept walking and none of them utter a word they all felt the awkward tension that surrounded all of them, except for the two guys: who is Damian and Gael, and Cassiopeia, they are the type of people that is okay not saying a word for a whole day, so they can't feel the awkwardness that surrounded them. "Well, this feels awkward." Claude scratched his head. "Yeah, maybe we can talk about things." Edward agreed. "I don't mind the quietness." Gael started. "It feels relaxing." Damian said, he is known as an aloof guy and likes to isolate himself. "Me too." Cassiopeia agreed to them. After her past life being filled with screams of agony, guns and all the things that could traumatize a normal persons life, this second life of hers, she preferred it to be the opposite from the first one. Instead of fighting because her employer want to, she fought because she want to, instead of fighting against the innocent and the evil, now she fights for the innocent, and end the evil. All she want is quiet life, full of freedom. "Is that so." They just dropped it, and continued walking in quiet. *In the city "Whoa, this place is awesome." Kang enthusiastically said, they have entered the city gate. The city is composed of different type of building, from the era of renaissance or older to the most futuristic they had never seen any kind of city back to there home. "Only here in Thera." Cassiopeia bragged. "What is Thera?" Claude asked. "This world is called Thera." Cassiopeia answered. "This city is called Lenshia, it was called like this because back when they discovered this place it is surrounded with Leshen." She introduced the city they are in. "That's crazy, how did they managed to survive?" Claude inquired. "The people who actually discovered this place are actually adventurers, speaking of adventurers most of them are actually pretty strong, so they defeated most of the Leshen and the ones who survived they left but still here like those from earlier. There are more of them around this place. Anyways back to this city, those adventurers who defeated the Leshen settled here and used the body of Leshen to build a civilization, this place is also actually called The Adventurers Resting Place. Most adventurers rest here since the next city is thousands of miles away if this place didn't exist." She explained the history of the city. "So that's why there different styles here." Claude said looking around the city. "They recycled the Leshen bodies, every time they renovate. Their bodies can withstand all kind of disaster but they are all weak when it comes to blade. Have you guys notice that this place is surrounded with blacksmith shop." Cassiopeia stated a fact about the city. "Yeah most of the residents here too are equipped with any type of blades." Haru noticed the blades they are all carrying. "You love blades do you?" Cassiopeia asked noticing how his face changes when he sees any type of blades. "How do you know?" Haru asked suspecting Cassiopeia. "Your face changes when you see blades, and you said you love my scythe." Cassiopeia said, as if it is the most obvious thing in the world. "So what if I like blades, what is it to you?" He interrogate Cassiopeia. "It has no problem with me really, I mean liking something is one of the things that could make your life better, so keep it up." Cassiopeia answered him. "Oh and we are here." They arrived in a hotel that is identical to the hotel of current time back on earth. "This is a common type of hotel back on earth." Logan said noticing that is completely identical to the hotel where the former president died. "This place..." Kang was flabbergasted when they entered, he notice how identical it is like the one back on earth. "You know this place?" Cassiopeia asked, noting on how they are familiar to this place. "Of course this place is the same thing back on earth, the one where the former president died." Edward said. "Is that so. This place, I actually own this one." Cassiopeia said.
