3rd POV
“Why would you make a replica of the place where you died?” Haru looked at her in disbelief, if it would be him, he would destroy the any place that looked like the place where he died.
“I know what you're thinking but, this place is my haven, it is where I became free. Free from the strings of my puppeteer.” Cassiopeia smiled, vividly remembering the time she was shot to death by her own teammates.
“What do you mean by puppeteer?” Claude asked.
“Well, you didn’t know but working as an assassin is against my will.” Cassiopeia answered his question.
Alishia gave the keys to her. “If you want to know more, let’s talk about it at dinner. Here are your rooms. I figured you would want to have your own privacy, especially that you guys came from different clans, enemies to be exact, so you got your own rooms.” Cassiopeia gave them each key to their rooms. “And just go to my room for dinner, just go to this elevator and it will lead you right up to my floor. Don’t worry that elevator is in each floor, so no matter what floor you are in you can go to my room.” She pointed to the elevator with the matte black door. “You can locate your rooms through the keychain, it says what floor it is located.” They looked at the keychain and it showed the floor they are located.
“Well, I’m going to go now, I still need to prepare our food.” Cassiopeia turn around and went to the exclusive elevator going to her room.
***At the elevator***
Cassiopeia’s POV
“Is this you surprise, Chance.” I said as soon as she the elevator doors closed.
“You sure know me Cass, but it has been 3 years, it is time to change. It is time to stop for being alone, this is a part of your improvement in this life of yours Cass.” Chance’s voice echoed through my head. It still felt tingly every time she uses telepathy.
“Well, I guess you're right. It is time for a change.” Cassiopeia realized that all this time she would be all alone once Chance achieve her goals.
3rd POV
One of the conditions of their deal was once Cassiopeia fulfilled her tasks, Chance would leave her alone, but Chance have to help Cassiopeia to live differently from her past life so that no regrets will be accumulated at the end of the deal.
Back then even if Cassiopeia had people helped her with the missions, they never became friends, one of the rules in assassination group you are not allowed any kind of emotion, they wouldn’t want their assassins be affected with such things like emotions and relationships, they believe these things are only for weak people to cope on how hard the reality is, on how hard to live in a world full of obstacles.
