A few weeks later#
River came downstairs in a short floral flare gown; Axel started tracing the curves in her body.
River felt a flush rise to her cheeks as she sat beside him.
The director seated across them cleared his throat.
“Alright, let's get started; we have lots of work to do.
So they began reading their script, as they got to the Kissing scene, River's face flushed
'Can we just skip this part?” She asked in a loud whisper.
“ No! It's part of the movie!”
Axel scoffed. “What a joke you've never kissed before?”
River's eyes Flashed in anger
“It's not a joke, and you'll wipe that smirk off your face.
“Cute!” Axel chuckled amused.
The director chuckled, packing up his things. “I'll see you two on Thursday; make sure you work on your chemistry, Miss River.”
River stomped the stairs. Feeling embarrassed, she made her way to the kitchen to grab a glass of milk.
She opened the fridge only to find it empty.
She decided to cook noodles since she was hungry.
She stood on tip toes trying to reach the noodles pack.
Just as she was struggling, Axel appeared behind her his perfume wafted up to her nostrils.
River stood there gawking at his attractive physique from his sexy abs to his messy dyed blonde hair.
“Will you just keep staring? At least ask me to help you “ he said.
“Your ego is too big for my liking!” River said annoyed.
“Then you can stay hungry!”
River tummy growled
“Please… just help me!”
Axel's smirk grew wider as he stepped forward, caging her between the counter and his body as he pulled out the noodles. As he handed it to her, River's eyes met his; his gaze burned with intensity, and River felt her heart beating. As he stared at his lip, she felt herself lifted. “Axel!” She gasped.
Axel picked her up and placed her on the kitchen table, stood in between her legs and locked eyes with her.
“How about we practice kisses?” He asked, his voice low and husky.
Axel's eyes locked onto River’s as he stood between her legs, his hands grasping the edge of the kitchen table. The air was thick with tension. River's chest heaved with each breath, her eyes never leaving Axel's.
Slowly, Axel leaned in, his lips brushing against River's. The kiss was gentle at first, but it quickly deepened, Emily's fingers tangling in Axel's hair. Her leg wrapped around his waist, pulling him closer.
Axel's hands roamed over Emily's body, her head tilted back in pleasure.
Just as it seemed like they were lost in their own world, the kitchen door burst open. Diva stood in the doorway, her eyes wide with rage.
"You're kissing her?" Diva shrieked, her voice echoing off the kitchen walls. "You left me for her? This elephant?”
Diva's hands clenched into fists as she stormed towards River. Axel quickly stepped in, his hands grasped Diva's arms tightly while she winced in pain.
"Stop, Diva," Axel growled, his eyes flashing with anger.
“How did you get here!” He snapped angrily.
“ I have your keys, i***t!”
“Well, you'll be returning them now.”
But Diva struggled against him, her eyes blazing with fury. “What! “ She shrieked.
"I love you, Axel," she spat. "I won't let her take you away from me."
Axel's grip on Diva's arms tightened as he dragged her away from the kitchen. River watched, her chest still heaving from their kiss
As Axel dragged Diva out of the kitchen, her voice grew fainter, but her words still echoed in River's mind
River stood frozen, her heart still racing from the electricity that had run through her body when Axel kissed her. She touched her lips, feeling the warmth and tenderness that lingered. "Oh gosh, River, what are you doing?" she muttered to herself.
Shaking her head, River tried to clear the fog. She decided to cook some noodles to calm her nerves. As she waited for the water to boil, she took out her phone and scrolled through the trending news.
