I stood there, Frozen, did Ash just kissed me? Did he just call me Love? I felt butterflies in my stomach. Then it hit me, he said goodbye and he think I’m still marrying Eddie, I blink, s**t I run after him, but he wasn't around anymore, I felt my heart sunk.

No worries I'll just go see him tomorrow. I went back into the hall, to my surprise Eddie and Conner were in a lip lock while dancing, wow didn't see that coming and it dawn on me, 'FYI Eddie was hitting on Conner earlier today'. Ash had said.

I breathe in and out then went to the bar to get a drink, wish I didn't though.

Maddie was sitting pathetically drowning her sorrows in alcohol, I couldn't feel sorry for her, no, not when she ruined mine and Ash's life just because she was being selfish. I scowled at her back, she felt me and turn to face me, and she groaned.

‘’I’m out of the way, and yet you two aren't together.’’ She said with disgust.

I was going to tell her what was going on, but I stop myself. We didn't owe her an explanation and she can rot in hell for all I care.

‘’Because of you, I suffer for ten f*****g years. And for what so you can keep him to yourself, what? You thought you could turn him straight? My god you’re so f*****g selfish.’’ I chided and turn my back on her and walked away.

Screw being reasonable I wanted to see Ash now.

I went to Ash's parent's house, but everything was dark, no cars not lights.

I called Eddie, so that I can ask Conner for Ash's cell number.

‘’Hello?’’ Answer Eddie sounding as if he had just run miles.

‘’Dude, put Conner on the phone I need to talk to him.’’ I tell him in a hurry.

‘’Yeah, what is it Dylan?’’ Ask an equally out of breath Conner.

‘’Where's Ash, I need to talk to him, I need his address and cellphone.’’   I state and they were silence on the other line.

‘’Sorry dude, Ash mention that he was leaving town after the reunion and didn't say where to, he even changes all his numbers.’’ Conner finally said sounding apologetic.

No that's not going to happen, I won’t let it, not again, he will not f*****g leave me again.

The next day, I and Eddie went back to New York and back to reality.

Days passed to weeks; weeks passed to Months.

And nothing, I didn't find Ash at all.

Eddie came to me one day saying how he was in love and that the man of his dreams proposed to him, I couldn't help but feel a little jealous of Eddie, he's getting married and here I'm pining for a man I've been in love with for almost 11 years.

We agreed to meet for lunch, Eddie wanted me to meet his fiancée, since I was going to be his best man, and I guess his fiancée had his own best man.

When I walked into the restaurant, I saw a very happy Eddie, what shock me the most was the fiancée. Well I'll be damned, didn't see this coming.

‘’Conner?’’ I stammer.
