WHEN I WAS FINALLY dressed in my human clothes, I glanced in the mirror once again. I won’t ever again think jeans are comfortable. They were scratchy and tight and felt like a corset in comparison to the free-flowing fabrics of the Fae clothes. I sighed as I pulled on my heavy coat. Not long now, and I’d be back in my old world. With my friends. My school mates. Humans. It didn’t thrill me, not at all. I’d always felt like I didn’t fit in, and now I was beginning to wonder if this was the reason why.
