Aiden's POV
Today was another crappy day. I was hangover from the end of summer part that one of the guys threw.
I groaned as I woke up to the sound of my alarm clock and went back to sleep.
I woke up again to someone shaking me harshly.
"Go away." I said to the person without opening my eyes.
"Wake up Aiden or you are going to be late on the first day of school." I heard my mom's voice. "You have to take a shower too. You reek of alcohol." She said while sighing.
My mom was used to my behavior by now.
I groaned as I got up and looked at my room. It was mess. Dirty clothes were everywhere along with my other stuff. my closet door was wide open with all the stuff. I sighed and looked at my mom. She was looking at me with disappointment in her green eyes.
She was beautiful but had wrinkles around her eyes and her from all the worry that I have caused her over the past eight years.
"I'm awake now." I said while looking at the ground, ashamed at my behavior. "Thanks for waking me."
She just shook her head and turned to leave the room. "Hurry up." She said just before she closed the door.
I sighed again. My head was killing me. I looked around and saw that she brought pain killers and a glass of water for me. I took them and went to bathroom and to take a shower.
Let me introduce myself properly. I am Aiden Michael King. Son of one of the most well known CEOs of the country and soon to be CEO too. My dad said that after I finished my high school I could work for him and after finishing collage I could take over the company if I have good enough grades.
So far my grades were all straight As. My only problem was that I slept around too much. I was well known for that, even though I was only seventeen. I was on TV every week for something that I had done.
As for school, let's just say that I rule that school. I am feared and respected, until this day no one had the nerve to stand up to of me. They knew who my dad is and that with a snap of my fingers I can make their lives a living hell.
It was the first day of school and did I mention that I hate school? No, well I do. But have to go.
I threw on a grey polo T-shirt and a pair of jeans and white and black convers.
I went downstairs and to the kitchen. My mom had already put a bowl of cheerios and milk on the kitchen island for me but she was nowhere to be seen. That was odd.
I dug into my bowel and when I finished my dad came into the kitchen.
"Good morning." He said.
"Morning" I answered.
He pour himself a cup of coffee in his travel mug.
"Ready for the first day of your senior year?" He asked. I could feel my eyes widen. What is going on? Did my dad just asked me if what I think he did?
I mean, don't get me wrong, my dad and I get along well but he had never, not in a million years, asked me if was ready for school or as a matter of facts for anything. He leaves that stuff to my mom.
"Y-y-yeah," I stammered. "Sure."
After that he didn't day anything and continued to sip his coffee. After I was finished with my breakfast, I went to grab my Mercedes and headed to garage to my car. Our house was not that far from my school but it was a ten minutes drive because of the traffic.
My hangover from last night was better but was still there.
I usually put on some music as I drive but since I had a hangover I knew it will make my headache worse.
I got to the school and parked on my usual parking lot and made my way inside the school and saw a group of my friends hanging out and went to join them. They were all like me, or tried to be, at least. They were more like followers then friends. I had more 'clones' than friends. I can say only a couple of people know me and I can call them friends. I flirted with some of the girls that passed me.
After the first period rang I made my way to my first class since if I was late and my dad found out about it I would be in trouble.
My first class was math. When I got to the class there was a spot in the back already, ready for me so I went straight to my seat. To my left there was one of my clones, Matt, and to my right one of my friends, Mark.
"Hey, man." Mark said.
"Hey." I replied
"Hi." Matt said. I just nodded my head in acknowledgment.
When everyone was in the class, the teacher came to the front of the class to introduce herself. She was a young woman, probably in her early to mid thirties, with straight brown hair.
"Hi everyone," The teacher said. "My name's Mrs. Newton and I will be your math teacher this year."
At the mention of her last name I couldn't help but smirk.
"Newton," I said to Mark while rolling my eyes. "Really?" He smirked at that.
"Is there anything you want to share with the class, Mister?" Mrs. Newton asked me.
"King, Aiden King." I answered. "And no ma'am, there is nothing." I said while smirking.
What a last name, I thought
"Good now be quiet and listen to what I have to say." She said.
The first day of school is usually boring as hell and I ditch it mostly, and get into trouble because of it. This year I didn't really wanted to get a lecture from my dad and be threatened by my father. And this year he said I ditch school too much he has to reconsider my position in the company. So I had to endure it. By the time my first period was over I was bored out of my mind.
This continues throughout the rest of the day until lunch. It was lunch time that I remembered that I forgot my lunch. So I had to eat cafeteria's food.
I got in the front of pizza line where two of my clones where there. The reason I call them that is because they try to act like me and do whatever I do. As I waited for my turn to get my food since there were already a couple of people in front that I couldn't get in front, I flirted with a group of girls that were behind me. They giggled and flirted back. I got my food and made my way toward my usual table with my friends with the two clones following me. As I passed a group of hot girls I was looking at and flirting with, I wasn't looking in front of me, when suddenly someone bumped into me and made me drop my food.
I looked and saw a beautiful girl with brown hair and thick black glasses looking at me. I haven't seen her around the school otherwise I would have remembered her
"I am so, sorry." She said. "I wasn't looking at whe-"
"Obviously." I cut her off. I wasn't usually this rude to girls, especially this beautiful but she looked like someone that I didn't want to think about. " You weren't" I continued.
"Again, I am sorry." she said. "If it makes you feel better I can get you your lunch."
At that I started laughing, my two clones following me. Was she serious? Did she not know who I am?
"What are you laughing at?" She demanded .
"You really don't know who I am, do you?" I asked after I finished laughing. By this time everyone was looking at us to know what was going on.
"Am I supposed to?" She asked, with her eyebrows raised.
"You don't know who I am?" I boomed.
If she recognized me or not, I couldn't tell, her expression was the same. Has she been living under a rock? How can she not know me.
After she didn't answer I lost my patient with her and said through gritted teeth, "I.AM.AIDEN.KING" I hissed at her.
She gasped and I took that as a sign that she now knew who I was and with the look on her face I could tell that she knew WHO I was.
I started to smirk but the next thing she said had my smirk froze on my face.
She stood straighter and looked me in the eyes and said. "You could be the King for all I care." With that she passed me to go sit on the high chairs.
At that second Aurora's memories came to the front of my mind after years of trying to push them to the back of my mind.
Aurora was my childhood best friend. Our fathers were friends so we became best friend and inseparable since we were kids. Yes Aurora was a Princess and lived in a Palace but that didn't stop me from going to her and become her best friend.
Until we were nine.
One day as I got up early so I can go to Aurora since she had just lost her mother who was also her friend and that was still hard for.
But when I asked my dad to drop me off at the Palace before school so I can go to school from the Palace, he said that I couldn't go to the Palace anymore.
I knew that him and her brothers and dad fought yesterday but I didn't know it was this big of a fight.
I asked him why but he didn't give an answer. Instead he told me to get in the car so we can go to school. I said I didn't want to go to school and I went to my room. I didn't leave my room for three days. My mom came to talk to me but gave up and just brought me my food.
After three days I went to school again but didn't talk to my dad or my mom for three weeks.
This girl that I just met looked just like her and said what she had said to me when she got mad at me.
I did not want to think about that part of my life. They were painful with the loss of my best friend.
I realized that I was still standing like an i***t, so I made my way to the usual spot that I sit but one look at my face everyone knew better than to try to talk to me.
Throughout the whole lunch time Aurora's face and the new girls face was in front of my mind.
After the bell rang and announced the end and I got up from my sit.
"Who is she?" I asked
