"Kai! Where are we going?!" she shrieks as his hand that are griping on hers was getting tighter and stronger as they made their way deeper into the forest behind the camping grounds their middle school is at.
"Jongin-ah! Please stop, my hand hurts" she pleads and he finally stops as he pulls her so that she stands by his side and not behind him.
"Sorry about your hand Hye, but look at this" he pants as he talks while gesturing to the scenery in front of them. She gasps as she registers what she's seeing, there was a lake in the middle of nowhere.
A lake surrounded by many bright green trees, it almost looks like a painting especially as the afternoon light illuminated the place so beautifully.
It looked deep but the waters were clear so she could vaguely make out what was probably in the bottom from where she stood.
"How did you find this?" she found her voice after a few minutes of awed silence.
"Sehun and I were bored last night, so we ventured off when it was lights out" he shrugs at his short explanation, pulling her to go near the edge of the lake.
"This is so beautiful" she comments as she looks at water.
"Wanna jump and go for a swim?" he says with a mischievous smile while wiggling his eyebrows at her.
"Are you crazy!? I didn't bring my swimsuit"
"We can always go in our underwear," Kai says with no care as he strips in front of her down to his boxers. She narrows her eyes at his nonchalant behavior and decided that she should just follow.
They have been friends since they were 5, so seeing each other in undergarments was a norm for them.

“I’ll leave first, Jiyeon’s already waiting for me at our cafe,” Sehun said and left them alone after the competition ended.
“So where do you want to go?” Kai asks her as he laces their fingers together. He manages to catch a tint of pink on her cheeks and he smiles, liking that he affected her whenever he does skinship with her.
“I don’t… I don’t know...? It’s up to you” she turns shy if Kai suddenly starts to do skinship with her.
She was surprised a while ago when he shows up from nowhere and suddenly holds her by the waist in front of the other contestants. She never says she hates it but she doesn’t know how to react as she needs to keep her own emotions at bay, not wanting to reveal anything to him.
“How about we have some fun?” Kai smiles and drags her towards his car as it came into their view. She just obeys and follows him.
“I haven’t spent some quality time with you in a while,” he truthfully says and drove off to who knows where. He brought her lunch and then continued his intentions of spending quality time with her.
“Let’s play and enjoy ourselves,” he said as he drove off to god knows where.

"Is this safe? Jongin-ah, answer me" she says when he hasn't replied to any of her questions as they walk inside the abandoned building.
"Yes Hye it is. Look, I know you're still mad-" Kai's words got cut when she suddenly yells and clings onto his body like a koala as the sound of fallen wood could be heard in a distance.
"What was that?" she squeals as her arms wrap themselves around his torso tighter giving her access to feel the outline of his hard rock abs.
"That was nothing Hyerin-ah, just some fallen wood. This is an old building, it must be rotting or something" he shrugs as he holds onto her and made her walk with him.
"Next time when you make stupid bets, leave me out of it. You know I hate creepy places" she huffs and he laughs at her, finding her panicked face adorable.
