“Kai?” Hyerin calls out to her best friend as she couldn’t find him in his pad. ”Kai!?” She calls again when she didn’t get any response. “Yah Kim Jongin!?” She yells feeling frustrated. Where is he? He’s gonna be late like this.  “Yah! Non-odiya!?” (Hey! Where are you?) I’m so gonna kill him if he’s the reason he won’t be able to perform on his turn. I keep telling him to stop entering the open competitions for locals and go for the international where he can have more exposure once the season's started, now he's going against his students.  She groans mentally with a stupid chuckle at the thought as she recalls the surprise looks of the younger boys and girls when they saw their dance instructors at the registration counter last week. *** "Why didn't you wake me Hye-ah!! We're gonna be late for class now" he came running to her from his bedroom as he pulls a t-shirt over his head, his bag being drag like a rag and she laughs at his distraught face. "We're not that late, I'm just early... oppa had to drop me off because he has an early meeting with his study group" he looks at her like she just dropped a bomb and she runs away from him to the exit as his steps got closer to her. "Ah!!!" she squeals as he caught up with her and throws her over his shoulder like a sack of potatoes. "Yah!! Put me down you heathen" she punches his back and he laughs, making his way to the elevator and entering.  *** “Did you miss me that much that you kept yelling like a madwoman?” A voice said from her back as her thoughts got cut. “Ahhhhhh!! i***t, you scared me!” She hit him on the chest. The male chuckles at her response and smiles at her playfully. “Where were you? I’ve been here for 10mins but you’re nowhere to be found” She pouts as the male kept smiling and took his leisure time to collect his things. He puts his extra shirt into a bag as he made sure to bring a bottle of water. “Kai... we’re gonna be late. Your turn is the 5th” She points out as she taps on her watch impatiently. “Yes, yes I know... can you wait just a bit and don't worry too much okay? By the way, have you eaten breakfast?” he asks as he pulls her by the arm towards the door. “No, I woke up late because I stayed up making your banner, the old one was destroyed by Baby” she bits her tongue and smiles sheepishly. He gives her a disapproving look as he gestures for her to enter the car. "You're blaming your pet cat for sleeping in and skipping breakfast?" "I'm not... but... well, I just wanted to make a banner to support you when you dance, as I always have" “That’s sweet of you but you shouldn’t have done that, you know how I hate it when you skip your meals” he frowns at her as he drove towards the dance location. “Hehehehehe, I know” she laughs sheepishly and rubs the back of her neck. You’re seriously driving me crazy Choi Hyerin, he thought as he looks at her before he speeds off. “Go inside and register me in, I’ll get us some breakfast” he gave her orders as soon as they arrived at COEX Mall, the dance location. “Come quickly and find me okay, I don't want you to be late” “Of course I will, don’t you trust me?” He asks back with an eyebrow raised. "Yeah... but..." "Look it's still early and we still have time Hye-ah" “Okay... Make it quick” Hyerin said and walks ahead, leaving Kai behind. She was sure Kai would be quick, she knows him as he doesn't like to be late for his competition. Kai shook his head at her behavior, it's in her nature to nag him about these things, she even calls herself his manager, not that he needs one. Kai went towards the café that opened early and orders their favorite, 2 mocha lattes, a chocolate beagle for Hyerin and a chocolate muffin for himself.
