"Are you an i***t!" Hyerin stood her ground as she takes in the insult from the older female. She had only stated to her what she was informed of, but the older took it as an offense so she's the one taking the blame.
"Yah! I'm talking to you! Have you gone deaf?" she pokes Hyerin on the shoulder and she only looks to the ground, her long hair curtained her red face.
"What? Just because you're part of the council and Kai's best friend doesn't mean you get to order me around! I asked you why we couldn't have the party here? This is a school club and we have our rights to have our celebration here on the school grounds too!" the senior keeps on yelling to Heyrin's face, making the passing students look at them.
"You little bi-" she was about to slap Hyerin but a hand caught it in time.
"Don't you dare touch her!" Kai said with so much venom that the older female shivered.
"Ka... Kai" she said feeling scared.
"Noona, I don't like the way you're speaking to my best friend, so please, leave us" his eyes were so cold that it made the older female pale.
The older left running, not caring that she looked pathetic running away from her younger boyfriend as Kai close the distance between him and Hyerin. He pulls her away from the prying eyes and bought her into an empty classroom.

“Now where is she?” Kai asks himself as he got towards the gathering center of the dance competition. He walks a little bit more before he got a glimpse of a familiar figure with Hyerin.
“Sehun!” He calls out as soon as he got closer, the latter turns around and smiles at him.
“Finally you’re here, I thought you would take forever,” Sehun waves as Kai sat next to Hyerin at the resting area for contestants.
“Why would you think I won’t be here? How else would she get here? You know she won't drive even if it the situation asks for it” He glares teasingly at his two friends as he gave Hyerin her breakfast and he bits down his muffin.
“Oh I know” Sehun smiles playfully and Hyerin chuckled at the two. They are at the age of 27 but still very playful and full of teasing like they were still in high school.

"Now for the fourth time Hyerin, release your foot from the brakes slowly, then push the gas pedal softly not too firmly to make sure the car can start moving smoothly" Kai instructed for Hyerin to follow as she had asked him to give her driving lessons. She was going to apply for it next week as she was coming of age.
"Like this?" she said and did as told, the result, was her going straight in between two nearby trees. Both teenagers grunts as they felt the small impact and luckily for them, the car's system had automatically stopped before real damage could be done.
"Are you okay Hye?" he asks her as he checks her for any injuries.
"I'm fine"
"Do you wanna go again?"
"No! Driving is scary! I don't want to apply for my licenses"
"But..."
"This is the fifth thing that I crashed into today! look at your car!"
"It's okay Hye"
"No, it's not! and nothing you say can change my mind" she huffed and got out of the car, sulking.
