21 Lita cracked her eyes open and suppressed a groan. Where am I? She blinked several times. Her vision slowly came into focus. She was sitting on a hard chair. Her wrists were secured behind her back. The inside of her left elbow was throbbing, but she seemed otherwise unharmed. More importantly, she was still wearing the jeans and T-shirt she had put on before work underneath her garage jumpsuit. She flicked her head back in an effort to see past large hanks of dark hair that had fallen loose from her braids. She was in some kind of minimalist office. There was a metal desk with a much more comfortable looking chair than her own. It was empty. A large, glass paperweight and a few file folders sat atop the desk in neat piles.
