CHAPTER 5

'What the hell? I have to get to Theo's house ASAP, and Imma give him a piece of my mind.' Those were the words that replayed in my head before my feet began to move, but before I could get anywhere, I bumped into Thea. She looked like she ran 5 miles. I had to wait for her to catch her breath before she spoke ."I'm so sorry about everything. You know what, give me that bastard's address, and Imma go o'er there and break his limbs. " And don't ask me how She knew it was Theo cos we know everything about each other. "Girl, chill. I'll handle it myself. I promise. " I assured her, and she gave me a good luck hug. I immediately sprinted to Theo's house.

When I got there, I ran upstairs and pushed his door open with all my might. The door flew open, and I stumbled into his room. "What the hell?" I mouthed when I noticed figures making out on the bed. I guess they were too engrossed in their act to notice my presence. Suddenly, the girl started moaning. I looked at them closely. "Oh my gosh." I screamed when I realised that the guy was my own boyfriend. Well, most likely to become my ex, but still my boyfriend. They stared at me with shock written all over their faces. Oh, and lest I forget, he was cheating on me. But that was the least of my problems.

Nonetheless, this is one of the many reasons you should never date a college senior. Leaving out the fact that the girl was hotter, sexier, and way prettier than me. She was also obviously in her senior year, so, older than me, too."Are you crazy?" He spat. "You know, I could be asking you the same thing. What the hell is this?" I asked, showing him the video on my phone. "Oh! that," he chuckled. "How dare you laugh in this situation. Don't tell me you were the one who sent this to the media." "Fine, I won't tell you." He said, flashing me an annoying grin. "You're such a dick." I said, holding back my tears. "But what I'll tell you is how much I made from that video." He added. The slut he was f*****g earlier looked at both of us like we were crazy. Then, she turned to Theo and said,"Bae, I have to leave now but I'll be back so we can continue where we stopped". "Yeah, just f**k off already and come back another day". I blurted in frustration but she just gave me a look that says, 'you are truly mentally ill'. And sashayed away. I faced Theo. "BTW, it's over between us." "Done!" He replied. "Such an asshole". I sighed and left.

FAST FOWARD TO PRESENT

Despite sleeping the whole day, I felt soooo tired but I felt it was because everything that happened yesterday reminded me of Theo and all he did to me. And also because his life was going great. I mean he's a f*****g CEO but I'm pathetic and jobless.

By around 6 p.m, I was hopelessly scrolling through t****k when a call came in. It was Thea. Thea was what you could call a successful entrepreneur. She was also a forex trader. I answered the call. "Guess who just made a hundred thousand dollars?" Her voice came blasting through my phone speaker. "Yo' girl. I made a hundred thousand dollars today". She sounded so excited. "Yay". I cheered her on. Weakly." C' mon girl, don't be like this. You haven't even heard the best part yet. Get dressed baby cuz this b***h is gonna take you to the most expensive pub and spend on you." "Really? Oh my gosh you're the bestest friend a broke girl could ever ask for". I squealed excitedly. What I needed right now was a few drinks and loud music.

I quickly got dressed in a black mini dress with a pair of matching heels and applied a little makeup leaving my brown hair loose around my shoulders.

We walked into the pub and the smell of smoke and liqueur immediately hit my nose, my ears were ringing from the loud music and the smoke made my eyes water. "C'mon," Thea said leading me towards the bar. We got two seats and ordered a bottle of whisky. I sighed in satisfaction when it burned down my throat. I looked around. I'd never been to a pub this big before. "Where's that?" I asked Thea referring to an elevated section of the pub located at the extreme filled with mostly rich men. "Prolly the stripping club. It's for the rich guys. I'm guessing the strippers here get paid a lot." She replied taking a sip of her drink. Suddenly, an idea popped up in my head. "OMG! I just had the most crazy ever." I yelped and Thea gave me a knowing look. Then her eyes widened in shock. "Do not tell me you are thinking what I'm thinking". "Hecks yea, I am". I replied. "I'M GONNA BE A STRIPPER". I yelled jumping off my seat and literally everyone in the bar turned to look at me. Well, I admit. I might be a little tipsy but this was a turning point in my life.
