I took in a deep breath before clicking the elevator button,The doors slid open, and I stepped into the elevator with a deep sigh. DAMN!!!. I just wasn't freaking ready for all of this s**t. But I had to do this for my mom. I'm like, literally the only person she's got in the entire world, and I can't just chicken out and run off. Not right now. I let out a breath I didn't even know I was holding as the elevator took me to the 13th floor. Yea,I was so damn nervous. After I got in, I carefully slid into an empty seat and got my CV out of my handbag . Okay, so a lot of people actually turned up for this interview. GREAT!!!. I feel so f****d up right now. After about 2 hours, 27 minutes and 13 seconds of waiting, it was finally my turn. I kept my fingers crossed and headed for the door. I took about five deep breaths before turning the door knob. So, get this: I kept my head down the entire time I got into the CEO's office. But remind me never to repeat that mistake in my next life. As soon as I looked up ,my eyes got locked with those pair of jade eyes belonging to the person who ruined my entire life and gave me a reason to question my existence. Then I heard his goddamn annoying voice". "If it isn't Jennifer Flores." "Theo f*****g Baxton". I seethed."Oh yea, and the name 's Jenna. You bastard!". "Wow ,you haven't changed a little bit". He said flashing me his annoying grin. Involuntarily,I stuck out my middle finger at him. "To hell with this job I'd rather remain jobless than working under you." I seethed instantly regretting it. I really would not prefer being jobless tho."Fine. So, just leave already. I'd appreciate it if you did." He replied, looking directly at me. His jade eyes never left mine, I silently stepped out of his office.
