Mom's Visit to College

The next day i woke up groaning in annoyance it sucks to go to school.

 Classes passed  by blur and it was  lunch time and  sat  like an i***t again with no lunch.

Envying Ashton who's eating a pizza.  The doors of the cafeteria  opened and i saw a figure walking in when i eyes reached the face i froze it was   myyyyyy mom!! i panicked  on seeing her and i glanced at Ashton who's not seeing me I try to point him but in vain.

  i went straight to Ash and sat beside him. Everyone started staring and murmuring. Then i nudge him to see mom and he tensed seeing her. I kept a  hand on his shoulder and he relaxe as mom wanted us to watch out each other.

 My mom found us and exclaimed  "My babies how are you doing?  You look so cute together actually your forgot your lunch so i thought to visit and drop your lunch. It was good to see u both now i will get going. Bye sweeties"

 This was the biggest shock i have received it was like under the skin which i was hiding was ripped apart in a fraction of seconds. Why did mom had to say "you look cute together" like seriously my head was spinning we both froze.

 Everyone was dumbstruck then suddenly i was out of my trance listening Ashton's friend speak "What the hell Ashton how does your mom know only Sadie plus u both aren't even friends .Will you explain me??" Ashton hesitated and was going to spill the truth when i got a plan i stood and started blabbering  "hey guys relax our mom's  are friends so that's how she knows me she thinks that we r friends so we played along that's it".

 Everyone sighed in peace listening my confession even Ashton. I walked out of the cafeteria as bell rang. I had enough for the day and there was a lot of gossiping about us.

 I attended my classes as my last period ended i was walking out of the room when one of the b***h purposely tripped over making me fall hard due to which i screamed which turned everyone's head they started laughing and mocking. 

 I saw  Ashton glaring at me in a concerned manner I tried to  get up but it was hurting so much.

  I closed my eyes i felt a hand behind my waist and on neck i turned to see Ashton picking me up in  his arms securely.

 I was surprised by his gesture i couldn't say a word i could hear hooting from behind he didn't  care and walked out of the class.

" what r u doing Ashton put me down it's looking awkward"  i whisper yelled but in vain he doesn't respond. I started poking his chest . 

 "Shut up Sadie i know you can't walk stop acting as if you r the strongest not at least in front of me ok!. And any  brother in the world would do the  same if something happened to their sister" He growled to which i shut my mouth.

, For once i melted seeing his concern for me and i said "thanks Ash" he smiled and smugly and said  " You will do my laundry this week Sadie to return my favour " 

I hissed at him and took back my thanks to which he chuckled  and i  slapped  him on his arms.

 Everyone is staring like they are watching aliens he sauntered to the parking lot  and put me inside his car carefully and drove  us to home.

 We reached home  Ashton pulled  me in his arms once more and walked  inside the house mom gasped and said "What happened Ash why r u carrying her like that"  

" Mom it's the usual clumsy Sadie who got her ankle sprained that's all" his reply made me growl at him. 

he landed  me on the couch and bandaged me and bandaged me. He left to freshen up when my mom came with some hot milk concern written all over her face.

She asked "Baby is it hurting? should we call a doctor" 

I rolled my eyes I don't know why but mom was always so hyper even when i got minor injuries. She was co cautious that nothing should hurt me that was the reason i wasn't allowed to go out alone and all the restrictions. Was it because i was a girl or why? I didn't know but every time i got hurt i worried more about her than me.

I smiled and said "MOm it's ok please i am not hurt. Don't worry"

She sighed and said " You must be thinking i am overprotective that's true baby but promise me no matter what happens in your life you will always love me"

I furrowed my brows and said "Ok? but why are u saying like that"

She looked everywhere except my eyes "It's nothing just that we don't know what life has planned for us"

I wondered why my mom showed up at college today it was not common that parents came to college. It was very unusual but i know my mom she is the most unique person and certainly a sample piece.
