In a few months, I would be eighteen years old and would become the alpha of the silver moon pack, I was supposed to have found my mate after my first shift but I am yet to find her.

I almost choke on the snack I was munching, as if she knew anything about mates.

Yesterday was the mating ceremony where werewolves get their mate when they are yet to get one when they clock sixteen. Yesterday was not my day to meet mine.

Maria was only twelve but I knew had been crushing on me, since when, probably when she first saw me. To be honest I don't care. I was used to the attention given by the opposite s*x.

" So tell me who is Dan's mate? He just get his mate recently," I ask her, Dan was the brother of her close friend.

" And Chloe? She is your brother's best friend, she got her mate last month,"

While I continue to munch on the snacks Maria gave me, I saw the girl that tend to take my breath away despite the tales associated with her, she was here to clean my room today and I always look forward to it. They are always following her about the pack like she was some special person that should be protected.
