Chapter Sixteen

The alpha son has been taking advantage of me since the day I started working at the pack house as a servant, initially, I was reluctant but when started threatening me, I has no option but to allow him to a***e my body to satisfy his l**t. My brothers were not allowed to go near his room and he forbade me from telling anyone, if I did, he said he was going to banish the whole of my family from the pack and I didn't want to be the one that caused their departure from the pack, the pack was a place where they have lived their life and causing them to leave if I didn't cooperate with him. It will only make Eva hate me more because she was still nursing a grudge against me for an offense I didn't do, so I have to bear this and keep the assault to myself.

The twins always wait for me and have been curious to know why the alpha's son is asking them not to come near his door.

" Hazel, you have refused to tell us what you do with the alpha in his room and why you end up taking a bath before leaving his room," Leo asked me, his last words concerning me taking a bath make my body stiffens, I didn't know they have been observing my every move when I go in and out of his room. I quickly change my countenance and smiled, I did want them to find out so it will cause problems for them and their mother. So I looked for a reason I would come up with.

" You see Kayden always believed that his things should not be contaminated as such he made sure that my body was all clean before I start cleaning his room, that is why I always take my bath in his room before I do my chores," I came up with a lie to prevent him for questioning me any for the concerning issue.

" Are you sure you are not lying to me?" Leo asked and I knew this was not going to end well.

" Of .. of course, I...I am telling the truth," I stutter, I was afraid he was going to get out the truth from me. He has always been the most sensible of the twins and always assumes the post of the eldest amount the three of us.

" But, I heard some noise while you were on there with him, was there another person in there with him?" He asked me and I knew the cat is about to be let out of the bag, what do I tell him? Why did he have to be nosy? Kayden has warned me not to tell anyone else what he was doing to me, their lives would be in danger if I tell them because they would want to confront him, and they were still little and no match for him, he has alpha blood in him and they were still very young even if it was a warrior's blood running him. I don't want any harm coming to any member of the family who has given me the opportunity to be alive today, he threatened to deal with them if I told anyone of his assault on me.

" Why did you do that? What if he had caught you spying on him? You know he does not like our family, do you want to cause problems for mother? Don't ever do that again," I scolded him, hoping to put fear into him and stop him from further questioning me, but Leo was no one to give in to fear.

" You are trying to make me afraid, so I can stop questioning you, but you should know I am not afraid of anyone and there is no one I can not stand up to," He said confidently. I should have known better, he never gives up until he gets the truth out of me.

" I am not trying to scare you but stating the obvious, please stay out of his business, he would not think twice before he harm our family and you know mother has not fully recovered from father's death and this might lead to her suffering more if he to take any action against our family. Just let this issue be, I don't want him to have the feeling that you are spying on him.

" What are you afraid of? Why are you hiding things from us? I only asked you a simple question and you refused to answer my question. Is there any harm in looking after my sister's welfare?" He said while struggling with his shoulders.

" Leo, it's okay, if she says it is okay and that there is no harm, let the issue be," Arthur says to him, he does not like arguments or issues that will cause grudges as such he tried to stop Leo from questioning me further, it was a relief to me when I heard him try to stop him from questioning me.

" It is wrong of her to hide anything from us, we have always stood by her and have always protected her from any form of bullying, so why can she tell us so we can help put a stop to whatever is happening to her," Leo yells at Arthur, he was getting angry now and it will be difficult for control him when he gets angry.

" Leo, calm down, remember our mother needs to be put into consideration since she said it might bring harm to our family and I know you will not be happy to see her traumatized again. Please let go and remember Anuty Zoe is expecting us at her house, so let's hurry up and leave already," Arthur says which finally made Leo calm down even if he was not happy that I don't trust him enough to tell him what Kayden has been doing to me.

They helped me with the cleaning and we left the pack house and headed toward my aunt's house.
